Meeting The "Mate"

■ Damon's Point of View □

On my way, driving to another f*cken pack just to find my mate that still has nowhere to appear. Damn!

Hurry up! I yelled at my trusted beta, who has accompanied me on this journey to find my mate.

"I'm terribly sorry my Alpha, give me five minutes and we will be there soon," said Cody.

"Don't worry Alpha, your mate has to be somewhere, you'll find her soon."

"Yeah, and when I find her, she'll be sorry for not appearing in front of me for the last 20 years of my life!" I stated. I could feel Cody shivering at my anger. Psh, just someone else that's afraid of me. Nothing new. Except he was my friend since childhood, which I felt a little sting from my numb heart.

"We arrived Alpha."

"Finally, now she better be here!" We both get out of the car and got greeted right from the start from this packs alpha. I walked straight past him only saying hello. Coward and being submissive right from the start, all cowards. Right when I enter, everything went quiet. I sniffed the air, trying to smell out my mate, nothing. As I was about to leave, a faint smell invaded my nose. My head whipped in its direction. Wait. I glared at this older woman, maybe in her 40s, I smell my mate on her. As I walked near her, I could hear her gulp. I grabbed her hand, to see scrapped off skin in her nails. My wolf Max got control and lifted her in the air and strangled her. I watched her struggle until she lost her energy and was crying. Everyone gasped but no one dared do anything. I will kill her for hurting my mate! A little girl pulled at my pants grabbing my attention and said in a sweet voice, "your mate not here, he's at XXXX, you should hurry." She smiled at me?! I dropped the lady leaving her in coughs and followed to where that kid said to go. Can't believe I'm following the directions of a kid... and off we went... again to find my mate. My blood still boiling from seeing my mates skin under the old hags nails.

I got out of the car when we arrived, no ones home. I caught a weak smell of my mate, but could smell blood. I gritted my teeth, took off my clothes, and transformed into a wolf. Damn! Ima kill the b*stard that made her bleed! I was tracking down my mates scent running through the woods like a mad man.

It's her! I saw a body leaning against a tree in front of a lake. I jumped in front of her....her...HIM?!

I saw a male, though he was as beautiful as a girl, but was a boy, just sleeping there like a fairy. I just felt the urge to kiss him and make him mine right here! But the smell of his blood snapped me back in reality. I transformed back into my human form, picked him up gently, and brought him to my car.

When Cody saw me nak.d, he tried grabbing ahold of my mate so I could change into clothes. But, I growled in a warning tone, and he backed off. Cody was shocked that my mate was male but quickly recovered soon. I put my mate in the car, and put on new clothes. I got in and he started mumbling. "Let...me...rest..." Cute I thought. "Take us home," I told Cody.

It was a long car drive when we finally reached the packhouse. I picked up my mate and put him over my shoulder. He then started yelling at me. I had him over my shoulder and held him tightly. After he yelled again and threatened me, I growled at him. I felt him wake up at my growl...
