When he saw her cry, Abraham's heart ached for her. He wanted to apologize or do something to make her feel better, but she looked away from him. She really didn't want him to touch her.
"Get out," he then heard her say.
Heh... I'm being ordered around like this... Ah, whatever.
He got up and left the room.
Abraham... You were so sweet before, what made you change?
A few memories started to flash through her mind.
A few years back, when she had turned 12, she was happily eating chocolate outside. It was a sunny day, and the sun made some of the chocolate melt on her hands.
Abraham noticed, and held her hand.
She looked at him in confusion, but he simply continued what he was doing.
He put her index finger in his mouth, and she instantly blushed.
"Idiot, let go!" she tried to push him, but noticed his grin.
She hardly ever saw him that happy, but she couldn't understand why he was like that. While she was lost in her thoughts, he changed the finger.
Before licking the other one, he murmured: "sweet," and then went on.
She had involuntarily dropped the rest of the chocolate bar to cover her mouth, and was twitching every now and then.
When he finished, he finally let go of her hand, and she immediately fell down. She was panting and red, but both of them couldn't figure out the reason. Nonetheless, she looked exhausted, and Abraham was the cause, so he helped her get to her room.
He put her on the bed and let her rest, and then got out.
Why didn't she push him? Why didn't she scream for help? Why did she just give in?
While questioning her mind, she finally found an answer; she liked him.
She felt very happy, because he was her first love, but she didn't see him for weeks after that day, and never knew why. He became more silent, distant and cold, but she still loved him.
Ah... How pitiful am I, to have fallen for such a cold-hearted person?
She cried for a few more minutes, until an idea popped into her head.
"Nadia!" she yelled.
Nadia was the name of her servant, one of the few they had. She was of Persian origin, and was amazing at her job. She cleaned, run errands and protected Elizabeth.
She was always standing at the door to guard it, so naturally, she heard Elizabeth's voice.
She opened the door and looked at Elizabeth, waiting for her orders.
Finally she opened her mouth to speak: "Go buy some aphrodisiacs."
Nadia was shocked beyond words. What was this girl doing? Didn't she know how strict her father could be? How could she try to ruin that boy's life?
"Milady, this is-" she wanted to speak, but was stopped by Elizabeth.
"Nadia, don't forget what your job is. Don't worry, I'll handle the rest," she said domineeringly.
What could Nadia possibly respond with?
