Chapter 3

Artemis and Harry reached the palace and were greeted by all the maids and servants and the butler. There stood the King and Queen of the kingdom.

Artemis went and hugged his mom. "What happened, mom? Why did you call me all of a sudden?", he asked.

"Today, Cecilia will be here and this time I want you to behave", the queen said with a glare. "Mom, she will bit be my wife. That's final", Artemis said.

"Aunty, find a bride for me too", Harry whined like a kid. "Cecilia's younger sister Caroline will be good for you. What say?", Queen said while Harry quickly denied. "She's way too bad. I won't marry that girl", Harry said with a disgusted look.

"You both will marry the one I choose, got it? And I will not accept any other girl than Cecilia as my daughter in law. I don't care if your father agrees or not", the Queen said stubbornly.

"Mom, I will never marry that self centered girl. I don't like her", Artemis said with finality. "You will, my son. Try to get along with her. She's not bad. Get to know her. She belongs to one of the noble family in Norway. Young and beautiful", said the Queen. Artemis sighed and went to his room without saying any word.

"What will I do with that boy? He doesn't even tries to understand the girl", the Queen sighed. Then a idea hit her suddenly and she looked at Harry. He understood that something was going on her aunt's evil mind. He smiled nervously.

"My dear aunt I'm not the part of your evil plan", he said backing out. "You don't love me. Both my sons don't even love me. Only my daughters are good", she said in an emotional way that could melt anyone's heart so did Harry's. He sighed in defeat.

"Aunt, you know if he comes to know he'll make sure to send me to the most rural part of the world", Harry said thinking of the consequences. "A new playstation and the brand new sports car with a private island named on my sweet nephew and year of vacation", the Queen said.

Harry's eyes sparkled as he thought about his vacation on the island playing on his new playstation and riding his sports car. "I'm in. You just speak aunt", he said and they both discussed the plan.

"When are the Princesses and King coming?", Harry asked. "They'll back by the evening", informed the butler. Harry went upstairs to his room and rested for a while as he will be working on their plan later on and for that he needs energy.

In the evening, everything was ready. The King and the Princesses were already there. The soon to be Queen was about to come. The queen was waiting eagerly to see her soon to be daughter in law. Cecilia with her family entered the palace and was greeted by everyone.

"Your Majesty, can I go and meet the Prince?", asked Cecilia with a smile shyly. "Oh, dear. How many times should I tell you to call me aunt and Artemis by his name. Go and meet him. He's in his room", the Queen said lovingly.

"Uncle, I'll go up then", she said to the King. "I didn't give you the permission to address me informally", the King said in a cold tone. "Mercy, your highness", she bowed and left.

On the way she saw Laurel and Ana. "Hello, princess", she said with a smile. "Oh, look. There she comes. You don't have to act in front of us", Laurel retorted. She never liked Cecilia after her first project with Cecilia.

"I'll never let you become my sis in law", Ana said and they both walked away. "If you both were not the princesses, I'd have showed you what I am", Cecilia mumbled with greeted teeth.

She cheered her mood and went to Artemis's room with a smiley face. She knocked on the door and entered. "Oh, it's you. I wanted to talk to you. It's good that you're here", Artemis said and gestured her to sit on the armchair opposite to him.

"I want you to break this engagement. My mother will not allow me to break it so I want you to break. You're a nice girl but I don't like you so it's better we both separate our paths", Artemis said politely.

"My parents won't allow me to break the engagement either. I'm sorry but I can't do anything about this matter", she said and got up. "Why not we try to be in this relationship? Maybe you'll like me", she said with a smile.

Artemis sighed and was about to speak when someone knocked. It was a maid. The queen called both of then downstairs to have dinner. They both headed downstairs and both the families had their dinner.

Afterwards, the queen asked Artemis to show around to Celilia. She intended to make them come close but Artemis denied saying he had some urgent video conference but Harry interrupted. Anyhow, Artemis managed to get rid of that.

He entered Harry's room and asked him, "What she gave you to help her?" Harry smiled and said, "Nothing bro. You're doubting my innocent aunt." Artemis glared at him.

"She's not at all innocent neither you are. Just tell me or you want me to send you to Africa for a year?", Artemis threatened. "A playstation, island on my name, sports car and a year vacation", Harry said in a single breath.

Aunt will kill me for this. God help me. Harry thought.

"Good", Artemis said with a smirk. "You won't send me to Africa right?", Harry nervously asked. "Who said? For the thing you did, you should be punished", Artemis said with an evil smile.

"Bro, you can't do this to me", he shouted but Artemis already left.

Sophia woke up early in the morning and got ready for her interview. She has applied for job in many companies and today is her first interview. She's excited as well as a bit nervous but she's much confident.

She got herself some formal dresses to wear in office. She picked a black pencil skirt that reached her knees and white blouse to go with it. She paired her outfit with black heels. She tied her long hairs in a neat bun. Her makeup just included a little lip balm to keep her natural red lips moisturized. She's a natural beauty.

She took a cab to the office. She stood outside the tall building and smiled. "I'll make sure I get the job here", she encouraged herself and went inside. She asked the receptionist and took a elevator.

The elevator door was about to close when someone's hand cake and stopped it. A man entered but Sophia was busy looking at mobile. She looked up to see the floor and realized who the man was.

"You? What are you doing here?", she asked in surprise. "Why people come to office?", he asked. "You work here?", she asked politely. He didn't answer for a while and nodded. It was Artemis.

"Are you going for the interview?", he asked looking at the file in her hand. She nodded. "Nervous?", he asked. "Nope", she said with a pointed look. He smirked.

"Don't be so overconfident", he said in a stern tone. "I'm not overconfident. I'm confident about my work and knowledge unlike some arrogant bastard", she said looking anywhere but him.

"Are you calling me an arrogant bastard?", he asked in a pissed tone. "Is there anyone except for the both of us?", she asked causally. "Can't you simply answer me?", he asked with narrowed eyes. "Same goes for you", she taunted.

She looked at the floor and it was her floor. She got down and stuck her tongue out teasing him as she said, "Bye, arrogant donkey." Artemis smirked and thought Only she can dare to say such thing to me. My sweet love. I'll make her see who I am.

Sophia got to the lounge area where there were many people sitting for the interview. Now she was a bit nervous. What if they are more capable and she don't get the job? She took deep breaths and calmed herself.

The interview went well and then they all were waiting for the results. The directors came out and announced three names. Unfortunately her name wasn't there. She looked down but suddenly her name was announced. She looked up.

"I'm sorry, sir but did you just call my name?", she asked for assurance. The director nodded. "You're hired as the CEO'S personal secretary", he announced. She gave a confused look because she never applied for that position.

"Actually our CEO was searching for a secretary and fortunately you meet that criteria and also you're very talented, that's what the CEO said after reading your CV. So the CEO appointed you as his secretary", he said. Sophia nodded.

"When would you like to join then?", he asked her. "If possible I'll join today itself", she said with a smile. "Okay, then. Please go to the 53rd floor. There you'll find the CEO'S office", he said politely.

It was ordered by Artemis to them to hire Sophia as his personal secretary. Also, he asked everyone to be polite to her. He was really impressed after seeing her CV. Now he wanted her more and more.

Sophia being unaware of who the CEO is walks into the cave of the tiger but she isn't a small rabbit, right? She's the tigress of this story. Let's see what happens next...
