Episode 5

David- in any relationship let the fault be on any side but other person has to understand and should take initiative to clear the misunderstanding or else they won’t get any chance to explain themselves, I don’t know what is the problem between you guys, I think he will be waiting for you to call him,you call to him and moreover no people likes to hate you.

What? David are you alright? Are you giving compliment to me (making fun of him)

David- well you are a kind girl  during our days in hospital you were so good to other patients, old people and made them to laugh by your non sense talk, and you care about your friends, you don’t want to hurt them especially lily, always you tell her to be with mary, so that they can build their bond and she won’t feel sad by leaving you alone.

Shaina saying to herself( At that moment I realized about David he were not ignoring me he quite familiar with my way of character, but he hides it from me because of our bad past)

Shaina- David I think you are not so bad, all this time you were watching at me yet you still hate me right. Although you didn’t want to show your care but you actually helped me many times I too wanted to end our misunderstandings but again next moment you were showing your attitude so I got confused which is you?

At that evening in the forest we both decided to let go of our past after some time we became good friends to each other.

Can I ask you something?

David- yes.

Me- whenever we were at hospital you were alone with some servant why did you not tell your parents about your accident.

David- my parents passed away when I was 7  years old and I don’t have any sister or brother, I do have a big family uncle, aunty, cousins  but  i feel they are just fake only my grand father takes care of me. But he lives with them in other country and I don’t want to bother them so I live in hostel since 7 years old. I don’t want my grand father to worry about me so I didn’t tell him.

I can see his loneliness by his words and eyes but I do pity for him, I stretched my hand towards him and said don’t worry I will be a good friend to you and you know about my family they treat you well so no need to feel lonely.

He feels hesitate to hold my hand but when he see my eyes, he was about to raise his hands then suddenly our group members came and interrupt us. We both withdraw our hands back.

Lily- Shaina, David where were you guys  till now we were searching for you, I was worried about you and see we won I got the box so let’s go now.

That’s ok we lost our way anyway you guys caught up with us and we won now I feel happy to see the reward -Shaina.

We moved from there to camping place and our seniors told the reward will be secret till the end of our tour. Next day of our trip- we played many games, spent more time with friends and it is really fun, the reward was the movie tickets with dinner pass were given to each member of the winning group and we were so happy by the reward.

We all came back to the bus, I see David sitting in the bus so I moved towards him, his bag has been placed next to his seat so I turn myself to sit other place he call me and ask me to sit, I asked him I think you are reserving seat for other person, I don’t want to bother you,

I put the bag for you so that no one should sit so come over, when he said that i went to sit next to the window.

We all were going back to the city I’m staring at David although we were enemies back but I think we are on good terms now it’s not bad to be his friend and this trip made me realized David is lonely and I want to be a good friend to him.

On other side David is thinking about Shaina- she is really sweet girl, it’s my fault to act like that,  when she heard about my family she felt sorry and wanted to be my friend from that moment till now we didn’t fight or argue, will she accept me as a friend when she comes to know about my secret.

We reached our destination I and David told good bye to each other.

Lily- Shaina I think you guys cleared your misunderstanding right.

Shaina- yes, I think David is not so bad.

Lily- I feel happy, so I need not to worry about your desk mate.

(Next day in the class)

David and me became very close in few days, whenever I have difficulty in studies he would help me. Due to the reward of the trip mary,lily,Edward, David and me became so close we formed a group went to the movie and dinner together we start to hang out together to cafeteria and library and outing also. I feel so happy to be with  them and my college life is filled with fun and care.

One day our room mates decided to go to pub at night, so we all got ready and went. We were all having fun and I got a call from my mom, I don’t want her to know that I’m in pub so I came out until I hear less noise to

pick the call, it is bit dark and no one were there here, when I’m about to pick the call I can hear the David voice so I went to search for him.

I found David with  a guy the same person who came to college the other day, I can see david is really angry at him, I don’t want to involve in his matter I turned myself and walking away.

David you are gay so what’s wrong to be with other boy. (when I hear those words by his friend instantly I turn back to see David)

David- shut up although I’m gay I don’t have feelings for you, you are my best friend stop bothering me.

His friend- no I like you more than a friend and he tries to kiss the David.

David hit him hardly by his fist and walking away by that place and I’m standing in his way and he freeze for a moment when he see me, I don’t know what to do at that time I’m just blankly standing over there, we both were seeing each other face….
