I’m Shaina today is the first day of my college, it is just a mixed feeling of excitement, fear, happiness. I’m carrying my luggage bag stepping in to campus, I find everywhere fresher’s running here and there for searching their particular branch building.One of the senior addressed me to see the notice board so that I can get lead to the branch building.There were many fresher’s looking over notice board, somehow I managed to see my name in the list, suddenly a girl pushed me hardly, accidentally I bumped into a boy his bag will fall down, i picked

it by saying sorry, while handing over to him I see his face, I think I have see him before stand still for a moment, crap it is him.

He/she—it’s you again ( together screamed at a time).

I glared at his face, throw his bag on him, moved from that place.

Shit!! Why do I feel this year is so unlucky for me, I though the first day of my college will be most memorable day but unfortunately I met with my enemy.

While I’m thinking about him with blank expression, a girl came to me, introduced herself as Lily, I’m glad because we both are from same class, I can see that she is very good and cute girl, she takes my bag, hold my

hand and run towards the building. I felt bit of relief by staying someone next to me.

All the fresher’s opening day function held in a hall, our seniors were welcoming us by some snacks then guided about the college, after that we both went to hostel to check in, fortunately me and lily both were from same

room then I became friend with other two roommates but they were from different branch.

Within a few hours I set my clothes and wardrobe then we all went to have dinner came back to our room.

I called to my parents and said them regarding college, room everything is fine, I hang up my phone, though I doesn’t like this college, I had no option other than to come here, I’m sitting on my bed and watching at

the moon through the window next to me –I really don’t understand out of so many colleges why did he joined here and moreover he also missed his entrance exam like me, how come he got seat in this college without exam? Whatever I hope he should not be same branch as me.(he is the guy she met near the notice board)

(Morning)

Alarm was set at early morning, I was the last one to get up we all got ready and went to college.

When I’m entering the class along with me together a guy also enters at the door, I slightly turned my face to left to see the person, gosh!!

Him again? We both were grinning our teeth, he pushed me, entered the class.

Hey can’t you see I’m entering the class, why do you push me?

It’s your fault to block the way for others, stop dreaming during day time.

When I open my mouth to argue with him lily, stops us and drag me over to a bench and sit in front of his desk.

I asked lily why do we have to sit here, we will choose some other place.

Lily- you like to sit next to window right, all other desk are already occupied other than this so I chose. Then I thought what she said is true why do I have to change my seat because of him, I look back, he too see me we both

turned our face.

After sometime teacher enter the class , as it is the first class she made everyone to introduce themselves. She told about the college project assignment, we all felt bit bore, overall it is nice until the teacher announce the list according to that list two students has to pair up as desk mates and project partners too.

Everyone feels bit sad because we have already made friends and now we have to sit with strangers.

Lily- Shaina I want to be with you, I wish we have to pair up.

I told her yes even I want to be with you.

But I’m saying to myself, god please please let my name be with anyone but not with him.

Teacher placed the list on board and left everyone runs to see who is their partner, unfortunately lily name paired with some other girl, I encouraged her to go with her by saying anyway we will be in same class.I saw david see the list and his face turn to angry and he went to sit.

I went near to board, every second I’m praying to god that his name should not be there. i find my name on the list then slowly I turn my eyes right side to check my partner name it is David (the guy she treat him as enemy). At that moment I want to scream but I just shut my mouth, turned back to see where he is sitting, I can see through his angry face that he already found out we both are desk mates so only he is avoiding to see me.

Step by step I approached towards him, though I really don’t want to speak with him but I gave up my ego just to swap seats because I like to sit next to window but he is sitting next to window.

David can we swap our seats ?

Why should I do, I too like to sit here.

Can’t you stop being childish, don’t act highly of yourself as if this is your college.

Yes, this is my college do you have any problem with it, stop your non sense I don’t like to speak with you.

Do you really think as if I like to be with you, you are just annoyance to me and sit beside him.

We both glared at each other turned our face to board, whole day we avoided to see each other face, at last class has been finished.

Lily- Shaina are you alright, why are you both so grumpy to each other.

Hi I’m lily, Shaina’ roommate, what’s your name? (lily to david)

I’m David nice to meet you ( he smiles at her) he greet and said good bye to her.

Gosh he does know how to smile but actually he looks quite cute while smiling but he do have annoying character thinking in my mind.
