Third person pov

You know that feeling, when you run into someone and you keep seeing them, that was Ariana case, it seems she’s noticing Jesse quite often this days. Just the other day she ran into him in the locker room and Jesse has acted as if she was a ghost, pretended as if she was invisible, she even found out that they are in the same department, but she wouldn’t have known if Stella didn’t tell her about it.

The next day Ariana was heading to the Blossom café, her brother had ask her to meet him there. When she reached, peter raised his hand to indicate where he was sitting. “Hey bro, what’s up” Ariana asked taking her seat. Peter looked around for a moment before he looked back at his little sister, ”Ariana, you know I am old enough to have a girlfriend right”peter couldn’t look at Ariana in the eyes and she was getting really confuse here. Peter was embarrassed to say this but he had to do it now or never, he had to man up. “And what does this conversation has to do with me?” Ariana asked. Peter didn’t fail to notice the smirk on Ariana face. “Well I’m planning on asking someone out” peter brought down his head after he made the statement, “you know you don’t have to ask me right? Just go ahead and do whatever you like.” “Ariana I know, but it’s just that it will be easier when you are involve,” well bro can you please go straight to the point” Ariana said with a hint of annoyance in her voice, “well its stella, I have liked her for a while now, please just help me out on this one” Ariana finally let out the laugh she was holding in. of course she had her hunch that it was stella, she have seen her brother looking at stella for a long time now, “awwww, my brother is all grown up now” alright I will talk to stella, but bro want to hear something, I think stella like you too”. Peter smiled immediately and maybe he did have a chance after all.

Some days later

“Really, your brother really like me!’ Stella shouted and stood up so fast from where she sat to face Ariana. “Yes he does and you have to promise me you would give him a chance” Ariana told her friend, because she knows Stella can be so dramatic sometimes.

“You know what Ariana, now that I know peter likes me too, when he comes to me I’m gonna throw myself at him and give him a hard kiss” they both laughed after Stella speech. Ariana zoned out after that because she remembered the event that took place after she had left the café the other day.

She met a few girls sitting across the corner, very close to blossom café, they were talking about Jesse, and if she could remember clearly she had heard one of them say he was from a rich family and his family wasn’t a happy one some even went as far to say that he was into drugs. But Ariana really doesn’t see those features on him; sometimes she would see him sitting alone at the café, staring into space. But Ariana just can’t understand why she cares so much.

Why is she so interested in this Jesse, well only she can answer that question?

Lia pov

Maybe it’s time for me to leave this place. All this quarrels with me and Zack started about 13 years ago. Zack stopped talking to me all of a sudden, although l had my hunch about why Zack was like that, but thinking about that night made me sick. That day that totally ruined my life. Leaving my husband would leave a scar, because I still love him. I promised myself that I would be here for Jesse and I plan to fulfill that promise, but after Jesse graduate from college, I will leave for my parent house and maybe spend the rest of my life there, I jumped a little when I heard the door open I didn’t realize I had space out again. When I turned, it turns out it was Zack, “you know people have been asking about you in the office, with this character of yours you would make people believe the rumors about us” until when do I have to live in such a lie, “what are you doing here shouldn’t you be in work now” I asked, I ignored his question because I was fed up of it already. “well I forgot some document at home, and decided to come get them, well you should think about what I said you wouldn’t want to ruin the company would you” “why? Are you scared that they would find out that the rumors are true well they should because I’m tired of acting and I hate those pitiful stares they give me, I...” Zack cut me short when I was about to make another statement “this is all your fault Lia if only you haven’t cheated on me we would have been happy there wouldn’t have been even the least of conflict between us, it was you who decided to ruin our life’s, so you deserve what is happening to you now, better accept it and return to work tomorrow!” he finally said it out, he walked past me and went to retrieve the document. I let my tears fall, when I raised my head up I came face to face with my son, I was shocked and hoped he hadn’t heard any of my conversation, but the disgust on his face when he looked at me was prove that he did. “Jesse when did you arrive” I asked him but he just storm past me and went to his room he shut the door. “Jesse please open the door”, I can explain.” But I didn’t receive any reply, these was what I feared, Jesse finding out and hating me for live, if I lose the love of my son I’m not sure I can bear that.

I left from his room and decided to go out a bit maybe to clear my head a little.

I went to the closet café I ordered for a cup of coffee, when I sat down I looked around and noticed that the café was really crowded, my attention was drawn back to my table when I heard a voice “excuse me miss, can I please have a seat with you.”
