Ariana pov

“Mum” I shouted from the living room, my brother is trying to get the remote from me, and if I let him have it, things are really gonna be boring, because guys are always into action and sweaty stuff, but I think a little romance gonna be good, at least for today. “Give me that” my brother shouted again, no I won’t, I finally have the remote for ones no way I’m gonna give it to you, “whatever” he said, I guess he finally gave up. Peter is 22 years old, his my big brother, he really is a case study but that doesn’t make me loves him less. He always got my back, but his so annoying sometimes. “Alright kids dinner is served” mum said from the dining, hey peter lets go. We entered the dinning and I was hit with the awesome aroma, hi mum what’s for dinner, before she could even reply my eyes drifted to the table of delicious looking spaghetti, I felt my mouth getting watery and I quickly took my seat. After some time dad also came out from his bedroom, and joined us for dinner, dad is really a hard worker, always busy, but we all understood.

Dad do you know that brother is in a bad gang, from the corner of my eyes I saw peters confuse face, his a big bully back in school, and he keeps following this bad gang of boys. “Really” was all dad say, guess he already know I’m pulling one of my silly jokes again. Wanna know what he did today he rejected another girls letter, he really made them feel so low, that’s bullying you know, and it is really a crime walking with his friends because just seeing them together can make every girl in school drool. It’s not fair, mum chuckled, and brother face calmed down from its previous confused face. “You know what sis, you should become an actress” everyone chuckled at that, and I smiled to myself. I just love to see those awesome smile on their face, you know after a very tiring day, it’s really great to see your family gather around and happy.

After dinner I help mum wash the dishes, I wipe my hands with a towel later , and just when I’m about to go sit down and enjoy some romance movie, I saw dad and peter sitting on the sofa and watching one of those sick wrestling game. I bet peter felt a presence behind him; he turned to look at me and he smirk. “hmm” I snort, goodnight dad, sweet dreams, I gave my dad a kiss on the cheeks, well bro I pray you dream of scorpions and tigers, I set on my way to my bedroom, but I didn’t miss the loud laugh I heard from dad and peter, this only means they conspired together again, I should have been angry but that only made me smile. I entered my bedroom, I remember those days I used to share a room with peter we always fought for the bed beside the window back then, and his defeated smile every time I win the bet made me smile a bit, but now we can’t stay in the same room anymore, because we’re all grown up. I slumped down on my bed, and signed well it’s not as if I’m not happy having a whole room to myself; after all I don’t need to listen to his snores anyway. I took my phone and go through some social media app and online stuff, and I didn’t even notice when I fell asleep, leaving my phone lying on the bed with my data still on.

Third person pov

Jesse sat inside the piano room, playing the piano, he was really only trying to shut down the argument coming from his parent. He sat there like an angel, he was wearing a white shirt and black jeans, and anyone could mistake him as an actor. In the massive room there was only the piano in the room and it was covered in glass window which made the sunlight to flash on Jesse. He kept playing the piano, despite the background noise, after sometime the argument seemed to have calmed down. “Jesse its time for dinner” he wasn’t surprise by the little tear that run down his eyes, it’s funny, his parent always act all lovely dovey in front of him, even if they knew he knows that it’s all an act. But they just want their son to be happy. Lia entered the room after getting silence as her response. “dear it’s time to eat” Jesse immediately stop the movement of his hands on the piano, he looked at his mother straight in the eyes, “why did you do it?” do what? Lia asked, “why did you stay?” Jesse repeated, was it because of me?. Lia looked at her son with no reply. Everywhere was silent for some time until Jesse got up and walked for his bedroom, even if his mother did not give a reply, he knew the answer already. Lia however broke down in tears after Jesse left. She blamed herself each day for does sadness hidden deep within her son’s eyes.

Zack and her married for love, they were deeply in love at that time but till today she can’t seem to understand what went wrong. Jesse climbed into his bed, he used his hands to cover his face, he had enough already for the day, so he welcomed the sleep with opened arms. And he drifted off to sleep forgetting about everything going to a place where everything won’t hunt him, even if it will be for a while. Meanwhile after crying her heart out, Lia was still on the floor looking ahead at nothing, you could tell she was fed up with everything but then her son is her only priority now, she told herself that she was going to live for her son each day.
