Meanwhile, Robert calls Rafferty and informs that the dead body has been identified and that person is Sam Milton from City's East side, Civil Colony.

Rafferty goes to the deceased Sam’s home whose mom is crying there for her son’s loss and says that he wanted to become an actor. Rafferty finds Sam’s friends and colleagues who are from Golden Club and they inform that Sam’s parents came just today from Nearer Town.

Rafferty acts emotional and says of coming there after watching news. He finds some bank statement doc of Sam and learns that there are 2 deposits of 49,000 INR and wonders how come he got this cash amount of money.

Rafferty says that Sam used to work at Golden Club where Yame used to frequently visit and he then went to her home and there got murdered. Sam Milton used to earn 10,000 INR per month but then how come there are 2 cash deposits of 49,000.

Rafferty ponders and look at the blackmail angle and thinks about the photo frame. Whether he went to blackmail Yame and there Alex murdered him ?

Rafferty thinks that its not a crime to have an affair unless the diamond earring man is married. Rafferty recollects and learns about Sid, Yame’s neighbor to be that diamond earring man.

Next morning, Rafferty goes to meet Yame and she admits to having an affair with Sid. Rafferty suggests that she went to see Sid once his wife went out of town and also she was not present at the time of murder.

She says yes. Rafferty suggests that Sam might be knowing the affair of her with Sid and might have blackmailed him.

In return, Sid might have killed him to make matters to rest.

Yame defends Sid and suggests he was with her from 8 to 9 PM. Rafferty makes it clear to her that case is strong and she has to testify the truth whether she was really present with Sid.

And if she does so then she can get bail otherwise difficult. Yame says to Sid being married and his family and Rafferty thinks its too late and she should have thought it before.

Rafferty thinks that even Sid’s wife has the right to know the truth, right ? She agrees and Rafferty thinks that after hearing Yame two things are clear – First, the murderer knew that she was with Sid at his home and Second, he was having the key of her home.

Yame is being called in the court and she thinks Alex to be the killer and Rafferty at his end starts on the lookout for Alex and his car.

He is helped by a young Taxi driver Scott who finally takes Rafferty to Alex’s blue car and gets a compliment. Scott asks Rafferty why he wants to get in other people’s problems and issues. Rafferty responds by saying that one who couldn’t solve their own issues/open ends are much interested in other peoples.
