On my way, I still can't believe that I played the flute in front of people again! What am I so stupid?! Uhnnnn.... and on top of that Sophie still has nightmares. If only those b*stards would have left us alone or kicked us out sooner... Sh*t stop thinking, I just have to get home soon.

I reached home, finally but all the lights were out, like usual. I dig in my pocket to pull out the key, and unlock the door.

Silence

Guess everyone is sleeping. Ugh, I'm so tired *yawn*.

I walk in the kitchen to find they wrapped up a sandwich for me, and left it on the table with a note-

Why am I so blessed with this angel sister-

D*mn! Not again! I ran into Sophie and Gabby room, to find Gabby holding the crying scared Sophie in her arms. I Can't take the sight of this every night, I turn around swinging my arm as hard as I could on their wall. Sh*t, I look back at Gabby and Sophie, seeing them both shocked and a little terrified.

I walk up to them, Hey I'm sorry, what happened in your dream this time, sweetie? (Nick)

They got you again Nicky, they got the belt again, they wouldn't.... they wouldn't stop again! Waaaahhh Umm huuuu

I winced again recalling the memory that terrorized Sophie.

Hey, sweetie, they can't hurt me anymore. I'm all healed up and stronger now. I can protect everyone now, okie~? I pull my arms up, and flex my myscles. See, all muscle! (Nick)

She giggled at my silliness. Can I protect Nicky and Gabby too?(Sophie)

Well, once you eat more veggies and get stronger and smarter, you can! Gabby said cutting in.

Yay, so we all can be happy then!(Sophie)

After Sophie went to sleep, me and Gabby went into the leaving room and sat down. No one spoke.

Snuff...Snuff...

I flick my head over to Gabby, who is sitting next to, to realize she started balling her eyes, trying to cry silently, making sure to not wake Sophie up again.

I flinch, seeing that both of my sister cried again, and to make it worse, they were crying about our pass.

I put my arm around her shoulder, and pull her in to my shoulder.

Nick, how can you not cry? Do you not feel the pain of our past?

Well I still have my contacts in, so that would make me blind. I say with a small chuckle. And our past is the past. The only thing holding us from our happy ending. I said forcing a smile. (Nick)

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for making you wear contacts. Sniff... (Gabby)

.... I got used to them. I'm sorry my eye color makes you guys remember that b*stard. (Nick)

I'm sorry, even tho we are twins I can't share your pain, or be the one with red eyes. (Gabby)

Phew, That's why they have contacts make, okay Gabby. Now what are we going to do to help Sophie? We can't send her to therapy, that's to risky. (Nick)

We could if we weren't f*cking hiding like criminals! Living like f*cking rats in the sewers! (Gabby)

I know, but we do need to find her help. I said calmly.

Gabby pulss away from my embrace and yells, "And how the h*ll are we supposed to do that!? Huh?! You want us to just put up a sign and say hey, were f*cking offspring of that b*stard, turn us in you'll be set off for the rest of your life?!"

Look at your f*cking back, Nick! How could he do that?! You only tried protecting us from getting beatings, you have so many scars, and now what?! (Gabby)

Pain flashed over my face from all these memories that replayed in my mind. They all healed up I said with a smile.
