First Encounter

Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...

"I'm up, uh, gosh." I stretch my arm across my bed reaching for the alarm clock. "wha?" I pull my half awake up looking at the bedside table." Seeing as my alarm clock is missing, could she? she wouldn't do it again would she?!" I flung my head in the direction of my doorway. Leaning against the doorway frame is Gabby Light, my twin sister.

Hehehe, look who wants to sleep in again! ( Gabby)

Give me my alarm clock Gabby, your not funny. (Nick)

It's your turn to walk Sophie to school today, and before you ask, no! I almost got a detention for being late because of you being lazy, yknow?! (Gabby)

Fine! Just go help Sophie get ready, since your already done. I'll be out in five! Now give me the alarm clock! (Nick)

Okey~~! Here you are! She cheerfully hands me the clock with a satisfied smile. (Gabby)

After getting ready and putting on my school uniform, I lazily walk out of my room and into the kitchen.

Hey! What do you want for breakfast? Your usuals? I shouted. (Nick)

I noticed a half awake Sophie sitting at the table. "Here sweetie, hurry up and eat. I pass her breakfast. Don't forget your packed lunch on the counter." (Nick)

Gabby steps in and stuffs her face with the eggs I just made, and inbetween bites I think she said something?

I SAID TEN MINUTES BEFORE FIRST BELL!!(Gabby)

Damn! I pick up Sophia who still had half of her pancakes left, grabbed her lunch and bookbag, and ran out the door with Sophie still on my shoulder. (Nick)

Lucky for me, the high school is right next to the elementary school! I ran, and when we reached Sophie's school, I dropped her off, pecked her cheek with a goodbye kiss and left for our school, hand in hand with Gabby. (Nick)

BRINGG...RINNGG...BRRINNGG...

We are so dead! The school gate was blocked by the gym teacher. A huge gorilla man that makes you stand with a chair above your head for the whole homeroom period! (Nick)

We huddled behind a tree, hiding from those eagle eyes that watch for late students to punished. (Nick)

Okey, you go on the right side of the school gate and I'll go on the left side, when the teacher goes after one of us, the other climbs the wall as fast as we can! (Gabby)

I know it's not gonna work but okey!(Nick)

We both run as fast as we can. I can feel his dagger throwing glares on my back.

Huff...Huff... he went the other way... good luck gabby!.(Nick)

As soon as I turned the corner, I hit something as stiff as a wall and bounced back on the sidewalk. (Nick)

When I look up to see what or who I hit... I see, the most handsomest guy I ever met! (Nick)

I snap back to reality when I hear the yelling of the gym teacher becoming closer. I stand up, bow my head and say, " I'm very sorry mister, I hope you didn't get hurt, I'm in a hurry and need to go now!"(Nick)

But for some reason the guy looked at me wide eyed. But I can't worry about that, I ran to a bench resting aside the gate wall. Using the bench as my booster I flung myself over the wall in one swift move.
