Episode 4 - "I Have Something To Tell You"

Mr. Lavigne opened the door. It was dark inside the Villa. He thought everyone's asleep or resting in their rooms. He used to come home quietly around. He opened the lights and he saw his wife, the guests and his business partners dressed up in a formal and elegant attire. They welcomed him with a birthday song as instructed by Mrs. Lavigne. Maggie's holding the cake with a lighted candles. And all of them started to sing him happy birthday.

"Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To you, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday To you!" 🎶🎶

"Make a wish first, Dad!" Maggie said while holding his personalized cake.

Mr. Lavigne blew the candles after wishing. "How come there's a celebration here? Who prepared all of this?" Maggie's father surprisingly said. "Ofcourse, it was planned by Mom. She prepared this for you Daddy!" She replied. "Thank you so much! Thank you, my daughter, my dear wife for the efforts. Thank you everyone for coming. Please feel at home and fill your stomachs. HAHAHA" his father joyfully responded.

The guests were coming near him. They were greeting and wishing him a happy birthday. "Uncle! Happy Birthday. I bought a wine for you. This one is from a famous Wine Shop here in City A. This one is imported from france. I hope you'll like it" Aubery handed his gift. "You are really thoughtful, Aubery. I would be happy if you'll be my......" The conversation interrupted when Maggie came near them. "What did you say Uncle?" Aubery asked. "Ah. I said, I will be happy if you'll always bring me wines" he replied quickly. "May you excuse me, I will going to entertain our guests" he added.

Maggie walked towards Aubery. "You are really pretty today! You really look like a woman now. How come you are dressed up like this? Is there someone courting you?! HAHAHA" he teased her. "So I am a man in your eyes? How could you say that?!" Maggie got annoyed. "I would be happy if you will introduce him to me. Who is it?! Tell me?? Tell me??" He asked in annoyance. "Jeez, stop asking me. You pretty know someone I really like" She said with a pissed-off expression. "Is that so? HAHAHA make sure he is better than me or I'll punch his face" he laugh out loud as he said those words. Maggie's heart was pierced. She felt like Aubery doesn't care if someone likes her. "Oh! Wait, you do love strawberry cake don't you? Come on, let's eat. I baked a cakes" she automatically changed the topic. "Ofcourse, I would love that. Can I take it home?" He said in jest.

They went to the dessert station together to get some cakes. His right hand was in Maggie's arm. Her cheeks was blushing and her heart was pounding excessively. She was really nervous. "Are you okay?" He asked her. He noticed Maggie, she was conscious. "Don't get conscious with your appearance. I was just... You know, I promise you, you are really pretty today. Be yourself" he tried to make her feel confident. "I have something to tell you later, is that okay?" she happily grabbbed the opportunity to ask him directly. "Hmmm.. So excited to know that man. HAHAHA" he chuckled at the astonishment in her face.

People were having fun and chatting with each other. They were drinking wines, vodkha, beer and champagnes.

It was 10:00 in the evening when guests and their business partners were one by one leaving the Villa. "Mr. And Mrs. Lavigne we are leaving now. The kids are sleepy already. Thank you for inviting us. We will visit you the next time around" Jack Tebris said. "Thanks for coming. Be safe on your way home" Mr. Lavigne replied.
