Chapter 4

Vince couldn't believe what he was seeing, it was his beautiful wife standing right before his eyes and his twins clinging on her tightly. He can't be mistaken, she is his wife even it have been two years since he last saw her and she have a different hairstyle now.

"Nina..." He blurted.

Maybe, this is just a dream which happened a lot of time in the past two years, he tried pinching his self to know if this is just a dream but it hurts which means that he's not dreaming, his wife was really standing in front of him.

Nina looked at him for only a second before she turned her eyes to Julia, who were sending daggers to his wife. "Didn't you understand what I said earlier? Or you think you'd really get away with what you did?"

Julia sneered momentarily at Nina before turning to him. "Vince, you should take the kids away from her. It looks like she's brainwashing them throughout the time she's with them."

Suddenly, Therese went in front of his wife and kids like she's shielding them which really puzzled him on what's going on.

"You know what, Julia, you should've entered hollywood since you're such a great actress, at least there you could have been more useful than being marketing head." Therese commented with mockery before turning to him. "Vince, do you~"

"Vince, the police are on their way here." Mr. Dillon reported when he came in the restaurant with his wife, he didn't immediately followed them to the restaurant to call the police and wait for his wife who was already near the hotel. "That woman would be in jail, don't worry."

"I don't think it would be neces~"

"It's necessary, Vince." Mrs. Dillon cut in with horrified look. "She'll be a huge threat on your kids' safety if you didn't put her in jail."

Nina looked so annoyed but she controlled it and looked at Therese.

"Therese, can you please take the kids at the table by the pool to finish their meals?" Therese nodded before Nina crouched in front of the kids.

"You both finish your lunch so those pretty waitresses and handsome waiters would give you an ice cream, just tell them what flavor you want. Mommy would just fix this mess but Aunt Therese would look after you so please no arguments while eating and don't bully Aunt Therese. Okay?" Nina said gently to the kids.

"Yes, mommy." Shaina said.

"But, mom~"

Nina pinched Vander's nose. "Mommy can handle this. I'm a big girl now, so don't worry."

"What are you doing?" Julia asked.

Vince couldn't help grinning since he knew what Nina was doing. As parents, they don't want their kids to hear any kind cursing or bad things and witness any kind of violence that they might adapt, since kids usually copies what they see or hear and they don't want that.

"Any good and decent adult would do." Nina glared at Julia before turning to the kids. "Go with Aunt Therese and behave."

"Yes, mommy." The twins said in chorus.

Nina turned to Therese. "Make sure they're distracted. I'll be quick since my shift starts in an hour and half."

Therese laughed. "What a first day, isn't it?"

Nina sighed. "You bet."

Therese guided the kids to the glass door leading to the tables that were a few meters away from the pool while Nina called a waitress.

"Can you please transfer our lunch to the table outside near the pool and give them ice cream after they finished but just 2 scoops each, they might have a sore throat if it's more than that, just ask the them what flavors they want." Nina asked.

"Yes, Ma'am."

Nina smiled. "Thank you."

"You really good on pretending nice, don't you?" Julia commented mockingly.

Nina raised an eyebrow. "Are you in some kind of delusions, Miss Dillon? I think you should see a shrink, it looks like something is wrong with your brain."

"How dare you say that to my daughter?!" Mrs. Dillon shouted angrily. "Don't you know who she~"

"Who she is? Madam, are you deaf? I just called her with her last name which means I know her. But honestly, your daughter really needs to have her brain check, she seems to think that the story she made to discredit me was the reality." Nina retorted.

"How dare you?!" Julia yelled furiously.

At that moment, the police officers came in guided by the security guard of the hotel.

"Finally, you're here, Officers." Mr. Dillon sighed in relief and pointed at Nina. "Please take this lady away of our hotel she's causing a lot of trouble here."

"What a joke." Nina spoke while was glaring at the Dillons. "You think you could put me in jail? On what grounds? Making trouble? FYI, you were the ones who barged in here while I'm having my lunch and made a scene. Besides, Miss Dillon is the one who have done a serious offense here for hu~"

"Shut up!" Julia yelled to interrupt what Nina was saying. "I already told you, you're going to regret what you did!"

"You're really trying my patience, Miss Dillon. And you even have the guts to let your father call the police, didn't you even thought that you could be the one who would be arrested when you involved them here?" Nina said in a calm but in a dangerous tone.

"Why would I be~"

"My gosh! You already forgot what just happened earlier?! Wow! You should really get your brain checked, maybe something is wrong with it." Nina snorted.

"You were the one who did something wrong and not me, why would I be scared?" Julia said in confidence.

Nina clapped loudly. "So much confidence, maybe you did something to put the blame on me like tampering with video footage and threatening the witnesses but you must know that I have the most valuable evidence."

"You just brainwhashed the kids!" Julia shouted angrily.

"I'm not referring to the kids. I asked my friend from a media network to get a copy of the video of what happened in the lobby earlier and in just one text or call from me, say goodbye to your reputation and you'll be behind bars."

"How dare you?!" Julia bawled.

"You've messed with the wrong person, Miss Dillon." Nina was smirking at Julia.

"How dare you threaten my daughter?!" Mr. Dillon shouted. "She was merely concerned of the~"

"Concern? You're making me laugh, Mr. Dillon." Nina said menacingly. "Why would she be concern? Oh yeah, she's concerned that I might ruin her and be behind bars. Also, she's worried that~"

"What kind of rubbish are you throwing at my daughter?!" Mrs. Dillon bawled at Nina. "I'll sue you for slander! My daughter would ne~"

"She just did!" Nina shouted angrily. "Your daughter just hurt Shaina, just because she doesn't want the kids to get their father's attention? How unreasonable is that?! Now you're telling me your daughter won't do that?! With all due respect, Ma'am, I think you don't know your daughter."

He abruptly looked at Julia in anger. She's the one who hurt his daughter! How dare her to lie to him and blame his wife for what she did?!

Julia held his arm with both hands while looking at him in pleading teary-eyes. "V-Vince, don't believe her. She's lying and putting the blame on me."

"Why would my wife lie? And why would she hurt our daughter?" He said angrily and pushed her away from him.

"Vince, she's not your wife." Julia said while sobbing. "She said it herself to the twins that she's not their mother."

He abruptly turned his gaze to Julia. "S-She said that?"

"I'm~"

Why would she deny that? He can't be mistaken, this woman is really his wife in every aspect, he can't see any difference for him to think that she's not.

Nina looked at Julia with very sharp eyes. "I was just kidding a while ago but I can't seem to deceive my twins, they knew me too well and besides, that's not the issue here!"

She's right. What's more important was what happened to their daughter, he'll deal with his wife later.

"Officer, please arrest Miss Dillon for hurting my daughter, harassing us and slandering me." Nina said to the police officers. "If you want any kind of evidence, I can ask my friend to send back a copy of the video footage and you can ask the people around on what happened, I don't think she could scare all of them that easily."

"That would really help in the investigation, Ma'am."

One of the police officers immediately went near Julia and put handcup on her while saying her rights.

Julia's parents was shocked of the turn of events that they were petrified on their feet.

"What?! No way!" Julia shouted while thrashing when she was being dragged out by the one of the police officers. "Mom! Dad! Help me!"

"Oh, my baby." Mrs. Dillon cried.

The couple seems they don't know what to do and just followed their daughter and the police officer out of the restaurant.

"Thank you for your help, officer." He said.

"Were just doing our jobs, Mr. Andreiage. But you still need to go to the station to file a lawsuit against Miss Dillon." The officer said.

"We won't file any kind of lawsuit against her, officer." Nina said while grinning which surprised him. "But can you detain her in jail until tomorrow, just to teach her a lesson. I wasn't really going to involve you guys in this issue but since you're called to be here, I don't want to waste your time and effort."

The officer smiled. "Sure thing, Mrs. Andreiage."

"Our guard will see you out, officer." He said to end the conversation and the police officer immediately bid his farewell to them.

He turned to his wife in poker-face. "Let's talk."

He dragged her by her hand to the office of the manager, she have a lot of things to explain to him since her disappearance two years ago up to her sudden appearance today.

"I lied, Mr. Andreiage. I'm not really your wife." She immediately said when they were alone.
