Chapter 4

The first thing that I'm missing is a proper job, eventhough my family is wealthy I still need to be able to take good care of me and Raphael in case something happens to my family or they decide not to support me anymore.

I've been taking care of that, since I attend University, I'm studying Finance and I already applied to the best company in the city and probably the world. The Royal Company, It's a very competent company and I heard that the CEO is very handsome but very strict and cold like ice. I'm still waiting for their reply and since I applied since a month ago I hope they call me soon because I don't want to work in my family company. I don't want anybody to think that I'm using my family to get a better place at work.

The second thing is my family, I didn't ask for their opinion but I'm not backing off for that, I made a choice and I'm never going to regret it.

I got home and I told the servants to gather my family at the living room for me. Three of them went to search them, one for my father Masato J. Takashima, the other one for my mother Kimiko Loyard, and the last one for my sister Masami Takashima. As you can see, my last name have one of both of my parent's but my sister just have my father's. We are 100% family but my parents decided to do it that way. My dad is 39 years old, my mom is 38, and my sister is 16.

Once they all gathered in the living room I told the servants to leave.

"Mom, dad, I have to tell you something" I said nervously

"What is it?" Said my mom with a worried face. My dad looked at me and my sis too.

"I made a choice that is going to affect my life. in a good way, but I'm sure you'll probably object to it and are going to get mad at me, but I don't really mind because I have already chosen to do this." I said with my head up and firm voice.

"What are you talking about?" Asked my father with a serious face.

"I'm going to adopt a kid from the Raziel orphanage named Raphael" I said with my voice almost shaking.

OMG, they all looked shocked and the living room was in total silence until my father broke the silence by yelling at me.

"What are you talking about! You are not even 21, you just broke up with Daisuke, you don't even have a job, and you are thinking about adopting a child!?" He said furious.

I think that even the servants heard it because they came running to look if something was wrong.

"Nothing's wrong you all can leave" said my mom to them and they left.

"What in the world are you thinking about!?" said my father controlling himself from yelling at me again.

"I just couldn't control myself from falling in love with that child," I said

"I've been going to that orphanage to help the house mother Aiko since two years ago, and a year ago Raphael came because his family decided to abandon him in a park, the police found him and decided to put him in Raziel orphanage since they couldn't contact his family, he is just six years old, he deserves a family" I said almost crying
