The first guy who dated Ophelia was Ricky Blackwood. He was very popular as well. His wealth and good looks attracted the attention of people. He had blonde hair with deep blue eyes. His height was almost as same as Hugo.

He had experience with dating. When he proposed to Ophelia he wasn’t serious about it either. Their relationship only lasted for a month.

Ricky may have dated Ophelia for her looks and how much she was popular in the school. But what about Ophelia? Why did she agreed to date him?

It all started when Hugo joined the basketball team. Ricky was the captain of their them. Ophelia would spend all her spare time in the stadium to watch Hugo play.

Although soon other girls started to take interest in Hugo. Even though Hugo was not that handsome compared to Ricky, he was somewhat intimidating. His height and ripped body was enough to make any girl drool over him.

“ You’re getting quite famous.” Ophelia said with a giggle.

“ Nah. That’s not possible.” Letting out a chuckle Hugo replied. He knew Ophelia was teasing him so that he will get distracted from the game.

“ Mmmh. Keep on denying. I saw it with my own eyes.” She whines making a funny face.

“ Mmm hmmp. Keep on blabbing and I’ll win this round too.” Chuckling at his upcoming victory Hugo replied.

“ I’m serious, Hugo. Maybe you need to pay attention to your surroundings.” Suddenly her voice got bit serious. She wasn’t really joking.

“ Ah! Whatever. I’m not really interested.”

“ Okay.” Ophelia ended that conversation because doesn’t want to confess her true intentions.

Ophelia continued to attend the basketball game as usual. She only went for Hugo. Other boys would loose their focus when their eyes met the beauty sitting next to the stadium.

Ricky was one of them too. He liked Ophelia from the moment his eyes saw her. In fact just after seeing her for the first time, he decided to pursue her. He started to talk with Ophelia and tried to interact with her as much as possible.

Ophelia could avoid Ricky since she went to see Hugo’s basketball match. So she had to face Ricky when even she went to the game.

One day, Ophelia saw something very unexpected. It made her take a drastic measure.

As the game ended Ophelia went to look for Hugo. When she came near to the locker room she was turned into a stone. Her best friend Hugo with a girl. The sight of Hugo being with some other girl made her heart ache.

They were standing at the boy’s locker room. No one was there around them. The girl was hugging Hugo very passionately. It was a sight that she will never forget. Ophelia can’t remember if she ever heard about the existence of such girl from Hugo. She never really cared about Hugo getting into a relationship, finding girlfriend or dating.

But seeing that impetuous surprise made her realise of her hidden desire. It made her understand how she actually felt originally.

Although, it seems like she was late.
