PROLOGUE

My mental health, physical health, my grades, my career and my dog Lulu. These are the only things I cared about in this world full of despair.

I never cared about anyone else aside from what I've said. Why? Because everybody did the same. No one in this world holds a kind heart, a peaceful mind, and a clean soul. This world is full of greedy individuals, who only thinks about themselves, who uses powers to conquer everything, who lies to earn titles, who wear a different mask to be adored, who became thieves to be popular, who bullied others to have friends, who blame others to keep their reputation clean and like what they did to my parents, who kills just for the sake of power.

I woke up from the sound of my alarm clock. “morning already?” I immediately pull myself off from the bed and did my morning routine. Take a bath, prepare myself for school, eat breakfast while reading a book and last, drive my way to school.

I’ve been living alone since I was 10. After my parent’s tragic death, many of my relatives tried to claim me and ask if I could live with them and be my legal guardian. But I refused all their invitations since I knew from the very beginning that they’re only after my family’s wealth.

My mother was the owner of the well-known coffee shop in country A while my father was the ex-president of the country. They were both killed inside my father's office in our manor. Till now, the case of my parents' death hasn't been solved. We still don't know who the culprit is nor we have any leads about the suspects since we know no one who holds such grudge against my parents. But even though I knew who they are and kill them the way they murdered my parents, it won't solve the pain and despair I'm experiencing till now, it won't take my parents' back to life.

And now, I’m 18 years old and starting a new chapter of my life. I'm already a college student. I always wanted to be a successful lyricist and be part of the music industry but at the same time, I also wanted to be a 3D Animator while taking care of my mother's coffee shop. And because of the rumors spreading how great SVU is and with the wealth of my deceased parents' I managed to let myself be welcomed by The Heavens, Saint Vincent University.

Don’t you ever dare start a conversation to make friends, ignore every invitation of your classmates to hang out, and last, ignore all suitors who approach you. I know I'm still suffering due to my past but this won't stop me to achieve my parents' goals and dreams for their only daughter...
