The power to overcome

Zeke, very worried, asks Yuki "What are we going to do? You said you cannot beat it at your current state? So how are we gonna win this?"

But it seemed that Yuki already had a plan in place for emergencies.

Zeke was clearly very worried. His legs were shaking and he was beginning to sweat. He felt very useless, he wanted to help Yuki no matter what, because he had an unpleasant feeling about that Hals. Something didn't seem right.

Zeke asked Yuki because he was worried about what was going to happen.

"Didn't you say you can't handle an Hals alone in your current state?"

But Yuki did nothing but face Zeke as she smiled and replied.

"Oh, did I say that? It was just charade". While looking at Zeke she laugh after which she said:

"I can do this, don't worry"

But one small detail made Zeke worry more about hearing Yuki's words. Her legs were shaking as well and she had every reason to feel that way, even if it was just a D rank, in front of her stood a creature that was ready to kill them both, and at the current level, neither of them seemed to be able to do too much. Nevertheless, Zeke was impressed when he saw Yuki rushed toward the Hals, even though she was afraid, Yuki found the courage to counterattack and not be overwhelmed by the situation.

"I don't know if it's courage or recklessness what you're doing now...Yuki..." that was what Zeke was thinking at the time, worried.

The time Yuki spent casting the spell was to create various traps nearby to give her an advantage in the fight. The Hals rushed towards Yuki to launch an attack with its claws, but when it approached Yuki something happened, it stopped suddenly, remaining motionless in one place.

"Electric arrow!"

A bright arrow came out of Yuki's bow, surrounded by a strong current of electricity, which struck Hals directly in the forehead. A strong wave of electricity began to penetrate Hals' body causing him severe pain. Hals began to scream in pain and poking his tail everywhere he could.

"It's still not enough, I need to get closer!"

She looks directly into the creature's eyes and the creature into her eyes. Hals was not happy at all, he had received a few good shots but they were not enough to bring him down.

"Ranged attacks are not powerful enough to knock you down, BUT THAT SHOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH!"

Not a second had passed and now Yuki was standing in front of the creature, ready to attack. Both Zeke and Hals were surprised and did not fully understand what had happened.

"Wait!? she just teleported? There's no way she's that fast!"

At the moment, the chances seemed to be in Yuki's favor. Now standing face to face with the creature, with all the power she had left, Yuki launches an uppercut into Hals' chin, giving him great pain. The Hals began to bleed, but even so, when the odds seemed to be to his disadvantage, he used his tail to launch a strong attack on Yuki.

""SHIT! I don't have enough time to avoid it, I have to block it..."

And it was exactly as she said, she hadn't had enough time to avoid Hals' attack so she tried to block his tail with her bare hands, but in vain, the attack was too strong and she was threw it into the rock where Zeke was watching. Blood began to flow from her head, she was not at all in a position to defeat the creature. Zeke started running towards her worried.

"Yuki! Yuki! are you alright?"

Yuki had said in a low voice "Hmmm...it looks like electro powers really can't be used against the Halls....Damn you Akuun...I really underestimated this Hals, although it is a D rank, it is quite strong."

Zeke looks at Yuki. Seeing her wounded and bleeding something inside Zeke still bothered him, it was the feeling of helplessness that lay in him, Yuki's words became more and more real. "I know, but I won't let this happen, I still have a lot to do, and so will you, so we can't die here."

Yuki sighed and said "Nothing, nothing, just don't die, if you die here, I'll just lose my powers in vain" then she smiled.

Zeke replied in a sarcastic manner "Yes, yes, your powers will be lost, I get it"

Now Zeke stopped joking and with a serious face asked Yuki "Yuki, I want you to answer a question, what rank did you say it was the Hals I defeated two days ago?"

"He was a C rank, but he was already wounded in the fight with me, and on top of that, then you could summon your sword, even so I don't know if it was luck or something else."

Zeke sighed "To be honest... I'm afraid, this creature looks very menacing, but at the same time, I don't know why, but I feel excitement."
