Chapter 04

   It had been six months since I can to Kansas and six months later and I would graduate and went to Blue Valley. "Y/N, how's your test?"

"Bad, I got an 'A'" I replied as Colby snickered with Sam when we were talking about our grades.

   "If I got and A when the others are A+, I won't say it's bad" I said as she shrugged,

"Yeah, I mean, you're just like that, I guess" She replied back as she took her back, "Where do you wanna go?" "I've dancing class" "You dance?" "I'm learning" She replied as she left both of us.

   "You know?" "No, what?" "She's going to move to South Korea after graduate from high school" I said as Colby looked at me, "You serious? Why?" "Pursue her dream, being idol" I replied back as he nodded softly and we takes more about her.

   "She's just so stiff, she doesn't dance well" "Yeah, the only thing that keep me being her friends here because of her money"

"She should just stop dancing and being model instead" And it kept going when I placed my phone to record it while I was gone and here in with earphone in this house.

   As soon as I heard knock, I took off my earphones and paused the record. "Yes?" "Dinner's ready" "I'll go soon" I said as I changed my clothes and went to dining room. "How's your dance practice?"

"You know me, I'm perfect" I replied with a grin and they agreed to it.

   "Y/N," "Colby? What're you doing here?" She asked as soon as she got outside her school, "Pick you up and maybe but some foods?"

"Sure, where's Sam?"

"Oh, he has another activity for today and will join us later" I replied as we walked to the nearest food court.

   "I heard you're gonna go to SK after graduate from high school" "Yeah" I replied as he gave me my mixed berry smoothie,

"Why?" "I wanna be an idol, wish me luck" I replied as we sat down on the bench and he began to ask more questions.

   "LA? Why?" "I want to meet more people who are like me" He replied as Sam came to us. "So, how's school?" "Shit, additional lessons and stuff" He replied as we chatted more,

"By the way, where will you go to, Colby?" "What?" "High school" I replied as he got quiet for a while, "Dunno, maybe with Sam, how about you?" "Blue Valley, same with you guys" I replied and not long after that, we were going to have our final exam.

   "Yes! It's over now!" I shouted as both them laughed with me too, "Yes, so, Blue Valley High School?" They asked for certainty "Blue Valley High School" I replied without hesitant. "Hope high school won't be suck like our lives" "Don't hope too much, girl" "Dayum, I can't believe that we're high school students now".

   "Colby, Sam, you go home?" I asked as both of them would later and I could go first. "Hello, Kim" I called as Kim, our next door neighbor, smiled as soon as she saw me, "Hey, how was your first day?" "Good, I guess. Could I have chocolate cherry ice cream, triple scoops?" I asked as she gave me right away and I paid for it before went to my park.

   I was walking with no disturbs if it was not for a boy who tripped and fell over me, "Holy shit! An angel" He exclaimed but I brushed it off and helped him back to his feet. "Thank- Is it because of me? Sorry" He said when noticed my stained shirt, "It's okay, I could buy new one" I said as he grabbed my hand.

   "My name's Jake, this is my number and hoodie" He said as I looked at his hoodie, "What is this for?" I asked and he lent it for me before I bought it changed to a new top. "Thank you, bye" I said as I left him and went to house as soon as possible after wire the oversized hoodie.

   "Where have you been?" I heard Colby asked as soon as I was 15 metres from house, "I was-" "And whose hoodie is this? It smells like boy" "The heck? Well, yeah-" As soon as I started to talk Sam was the one who yelled "WHAT?! BOY?!" "This is going to be a long *** ride" I sighed.

   "Ah, so, do you know where he lives?" "No, but I'll ask him because I got his numbers" I replied as they nodded in sync and told me next time that they would accompany me. "Where do you go?" "Bed, I'm so tired right now" I replied as they told me good night even though I hadn't eaten any dinner.

   Few years passed and we graduated from high school and prom would just begin. "I have no date" I replied as Allison put down the gown, "You could go there by yourself or Sam or Colby or Jake, probably?" "No, I should prepare my suitcase instead of that stupid prom" I replied back as I went to my room and instead of some spirits, I saw Colby with red rose in his hands.

   "Will you go-" "No, I'm busy" I replied back as I tried to push him out of my room, "Please, before you go to SK tomorrow, our last time to be spent with each other in America" He added up as I exhale rough breath.

   "Finally, you guys look so cute" "This is literally pe-" "Time to go, bye Mrs.Golbach!" I said as we went to the prom and Y/N kept being shut off and checked her phone over and over again. "Here, for you" I said as I have her a drink, "Thanks, but no" She replied short and I leaned on wall beside her.

   Because of my curiosity, I peaked her phone and I saw something that broke my heart. Her text with her dad and forced her to go to SK tomorrow dusk and she was accepted to be a trainee and idol in an agency there.

   After the no-special-moments-of-high-school prom, I drove her home and said good bye as she went inside the house with no words or any reply to me. "And I thought my chance with her would be better after this" I sighed as I put my head on the window.
