Knowing each other more

So the next few days were quite peaceful and normal for Alex except that he continued seeing those dreams and it was as exhausting as always to cope with 3 jobs and his studies for Miami.

Both of them started getting close to each other with each passing day.

Alex: Miami..MIAMI WAIT

Miami: oh hey ..good morning

Alex: Morning

.....

Alex: hey how do you manage to look even more paler and tiring than ever before

Miami: well i cant help. Its cz of my jobs

Alex: JOBSSSS?  BUT WHY R U DOING JOB ?

Miami: its because i have to keep earning to pay all my basic expenses

Alex was stunned as he could never think of doing any job at such a young age. He had everything which perhaps Miami lacks. He never realised that the things which he just took for granted were perhaps a big dream come true for Miami. He was suddenly at a loss of words and so he decided to change the topic as always.

Alex: umm Miami i always see you alone during breaks. What about your friends?

Miami: i have none

Alex: how come ?

Miami: cz no one wants to be friends with a freak who doesnt have any parents. They think i am messy and dont wanna be friends with me.Even a bastard child has one shoulder to cry his heart out. Its just me!!

Miami laughed out loud to hide his watery eyes. The world has already made him a solo rider. He never learnt to trust anyone nor did he ever try to earn someone else' s trust. He did not want to bear the burden of responsibilities and betrayals of others. His life was messy enough to share other's sorrows.

( Alex P.O.V. )

" So is it the fault of a child to not have any parents. Did he really deserve to be treated this way? Was this just me who was blind to the evils of mankind before ? It hurts a lot to see him like this. It hurts that i cant make him feel secure. I want to hug him. I want to tell him that no matter what ppl see in him he will always be a special friend to me. I feel useless to not even be able to be a good friend to him. It really hurts."

Listening this Alex suddenly grabbed Miami by his shoulders and shook him

" You are never alone. I will always be there for you. Are you clear. I will always stay by your side Miami. "

Alex suddenly realised what he did on an impulse when he saw Miami' s shocked expression.

Alex was blushing hard with embarassmemt when Miami giggled a little.

 "You are so cute. No one ever has told me this before. Thanx Alex. ", said Miami smiling

This made Alex skip a beat and blush even harder. But He was so relieved to see Miami smile for the first time. It made all his embarassment disappear. He extended his hand towards Miami and gave a big bright smile

" friends  ? "

Miami put his hands in alex' s and shook it a little

" yes friends "

Alex was so happy to finally make his first friend. He could not believe that he would also be the first friend to Miami. This thought made him very happy that he gave a loud shout

"yayyy "

" wait whats this feeling....yes it must be happiness to find a new friend and nothing else...GEEEZZ ", alex covered his red face with his hands.

Something started changing in both of them. This short period of friendship moved something larger in their heart. Is this the beginning of a new chapter in their lives?  Were they fated to meet ? Lets find more
