Chapter 17

Crystal's POV:

I returned back to America a week ago and I've been trying my best to be around Alex but the only thing he says is for me to leave him alone, we are impossible or he doesn't love me at all.

"Hey, Alex", I said as I entered his cabin. "Crystal, I'm really tired", he said and I felt bad so I went and massaged his shoulder. He relaxed and leaned onto my touch. "If you want I can do that every day and night", I whispered into his ears.

"Thanks", he cleared his throat feeling embarrassed as his ears were red. I chuckled and said, "I'll pick you up in the evening. And yeah, I'm sorry but it's just for the two of us so I'll ask my mom to babysit Alen." Without waiting for his answer I left.

I went home to hear that Mia was here and was cooking in the kitchen. I went inside the kitchen and asked, "What the hell are you doing here?" She turned around and said with a smiley face, "I'm cooking for James."

"Just stop with the act because my brother is not here", I said in a bored tone. "Since, you know about me, I don't have to act around you. It's better. By the way, I never thought that the King of the underworld would be so dumb but I must say that the Princess is really smart just like they say", she said.

"You better stay away from my brother or you won't end up good", I said. "Oh is it? What will you do?", she asked with a smirk. "I will make you beg for death", I said with rage filled voice.

"Please don't be like that to me, princess. I beg your forgiveness. I'll never cook for the King again. Just don't kill me", she suddenly acted innocent. "Why are you acting?", I asked with furrowed brows.

"What are you doing, baby princess?", came my brother's voice. So that's why she was acting. I can't say anything as bro won't believe me. I turned around to face him.

"James, please don't scold her. She was just saying that I can't cook for you maybe she doesn't trust me", Mia acted. I rolled my eyes and walked past but bro held my arm.

"Apologize to her. How many time do I have to tell you to respect your elders? Is it because I'm not strict with you?", he scolded. "Bro, seriously? Are you blind? Can't you see she's acting? How can you be my brother?", I said pushing his hand away.

"I said APOLOGIZE. NOW", bro shouted. "I won't. I'll never ever apologize to someone who is a liar", I said to him. "Crystal, apologize", he yelled.

"Wow, just for this vicious woman. You called by my name today. This is new because you never did this even when I didn't knew you were my brother", I said with a sad smile and went to my room. "I'll not let you become the Queen", I said before leaving.

I took shower and went to my brother's study and said, "I'm holding a meeting at the HQ come on time, King." He looked pained but I ignored him and left for the Headquarters.

There were only the main members including dad as he's the former King, mom as the former queen, Sean, Jacob, Tracey and some others. I sat on my chair. After a while, James entered like a King he is and with him entered Mia just like I thought.

"Today's meeting is held by the Princess", Tracey announced. "Today's meeting is about the King and me", I said with power making everyone shiver. They all started murmuring while mom, dad, Sean looked at me with confusion.

"I don't think the Princess that means I, Crystal Smith is not capable of being a Princess. I would like to know who all agree to this", I said and no one got up except Mia. I nodded. "Why? Who are you say that? You're not the member of our gang and you have no right to speak in the meeting. Neither do you know any rule of our gang", I asked.

"I have right as I'm the fiancee of the King, your future Queen", she said and I looked at my brother who had a blank face. "I've an announcement to make", I said with a smirk. "What is it?", she asked arrogantly.

"I, being the Princess and second head of Blood Empire, think that the King is not capable of being the head so being the second child of Smith Empire, I'll take over Blood Empire. Does anyone want to say anything against me?", I asked with raised brows and Mia objected just like I thought. Also two more members stood up.

I took my gun my gun and pointed at them. "Betrayal is a sin and sins are unforgivable", I said and shot on their arms. "Take them to the basement. I'll be back", I said to our men and they dragged them to the basement. Then I pointed my gun to her head.

"King, do you agree?", I asked. "Yes", my brother said and got up. "What? How can you give your title to this girl who's just childish?", Mia argued.

"She's my sister and no one else can take care of this Empire other than her also I owe her an apology", James said. Mom, dad and Sean were all confused. "Why won't you accept my brother now? Isn't it true love?", I asked.

"I love him but... but how can you be so ruthless to take your elder brother's title?", she asked. "Oh is it? I can be more ruthless. Didn't you know that I don't think twice before killing?", I asked.

"What... what do you want to say?", she shuttered. I smirked and said, "Betrayal is a sin and sins are....", I didn't say further as someone was going to complete it for me.

"Unforgivable", James said. She looked at him with shocked eyes. "James, what are you saying?", she asked acting innocent. "Oh just stop that acting of yours. He has known about your true self a long ago so just keep it low now", I said rolling my eyes.

"The day you entered my life I thought how can someone be so innocent so I asked my men to investigate on you and I got a great surprise. I'm afraid you won't be able to serve your master, Aabid Abdallah anymore. He has to find another mistress now", he said with a smirk.

"You think that the King of the underworld is so stupid?", I questioned. "H-How? So this was all your plan?", she shuttered. "Yes", brother said with his signature smirk.

"You think only you can act? Today when I went to my room. I was thinking of all the ways to get rid of you then went to inform bro about the meeting I wanted to held. I wanted to show him your real face but instead he gave me a surprise and we planned this all. He apologized to me and it was all his plan from the start", I explained as I shrugged my shoulders.

"It was all a trap", she murmured. "But you think you can be saved? Aabid is already gonna destroy you and his plan is all ready. You think he will let the matter go when you steal the contract? No, he knew something might happen so he had a plan B. You'll will die if I die. He will avenge me", she said and I started laughing.

"What are laughing at?", she asked. "Oh god, like seriously? You think he will care if you die. What a stupid woman! He has so many mistresses and if one is gone, why would he even care? You're nothing but a tool for him", I said controlling my laughter.

"Bro, how can someone be so stupid?", I asked with a chuckle. He chuckled too. "So time to leave here now", bro said and pointed gun on her temple. She closed her eyes so he withdrew his gun and said, "Baby princess, she made you angry so you can do anything you like with her."

"Okay", I said and took my knife out stabbing into her stomach and twisting it. "Have fun for betraying my brother. You wanted to become the queen, right?", I asked and she groaned in pain. She tried to push me but I held her hands and stabbed both her palms on the table.

"You're so innocent", I said and stabbed an injection into her neck that will kill her slowly and painful. "You'll beg for death but I won't give you", I said and threw her on the floor. I ordered my men to take her and throw her in the last cell of the basement.

"So, what next, King?", Sean asked. "Now that we have kill the messengers Aabid sent, he will panick and we will take that opportunity. First of all we have to destroy Lorezo because if one is destroyed the other will weaken but Aabid is someone to be destroyed that easily so we need to be careful", James said and we all nodded.

"First of all, increase the security of mom and Roslin because they will attack someone who are our weakness", I said and everyone nodded. "You have to be careful too", mom said. "I'll be careful and I'm not so easy to handle", I said to lighten the tense atmosphere.

"Be careful not to get out of the house without bodyguards and always be on alert", James said to everyone. We all discussed about it and then returned home. My security was also increased because I was the princess of the underworld and they might attack me to use as the chip to bargain with the King, my brother.
