Chapter 12

Crystal's POV:

"What do you want, James?", dad asked but he just smirked. "Say it, idiot", I yelled. He ordered everyone to go out from his gang as well as ours. Leaving only four people from both the gangs inside who were trustworthy.

"I want her", James said and that was enough now. I grabbed him by the coat and said, "I told you stop flirting around with me." He patted my head lovingly.

"What do you mean by you want her? She doesn't like you", Sean said. "But I love her", James said looking at dad and Sean. "Crystie, calm down", dad said. "Dad just leave him to me. I'll kill him with my beautiful hands", I said with gritted teeth.

"Crystie, leave him", dad said. "But dad...", I whined but left his coat. "James, are you really son of John Smith?", dad asked and he nodded. "I can you give you proofs if you want", he said with confidence.

"Dad, you don't have to see any proofs. Even if he's John uncle's son, he's so rude unlike uncle who saved us", I said with anger filled tone. "Are you really here to take her?", dad asked leaving me shocked and ignored as if I don't exist. James nodded.

"Dad!", I yelled. "Crystal, do you not like him?", dad asked. "Never ever", I said. "But you have to live your life with me", James said teasingly. "But I don't want to live with you. I don't love you and I will never marry you", I said. "Marry?", dad looked at me with surprise.

"Yes, you were talking about my marriage right?", I asked oblivious about what they are talking. "Crystal, he is your biological brother", dad said and I stared at him with wide eyes. James chuckled and patted my head as he said, "I will never marry my own sister." I glared at him.

"How can he be my biological brother?", I asked. "His father John Smith was the underworld King before me but he died along with his wife. James was 10 year old that time and I thought he died too. Before dying, John handed you to me and asked me to take care of you and I promised him. He even declared me as the underworld King because he said I was the most deserved and I must say that you are really like your parents, fearless and intelligent", dad said.

"So all that in my life was a lie? The family I treat as my family is not my family", I said with a bitter laughter. "Its not like that. You have always been our family and you will always be", dad said. I looked at Sean who seemed to be shocked too.

"I should take my princess back with me", James said. "How can I believe that you are my family?", I asked him. A man came and gave me an envelope. "There are DNA tests reports. You can see it", James said and I slowly opened the envelope to reveal the reports and it said that our DNA matches that means we had same parents.

"Please don't hate us. We didn't tell you because you were small and you we never thought that this moment would ever come. I've always treated you like my daughter", dad who's not my dad said. "Yes, because of you I got beatings", Sean said and I teased him. Everyone chuckled at my childish behavior.

"You'll always be my daughter no matter what", dad said and I hugged him but was interrupted by someone clearing the throat. I looked at James and hugged him. "I'm sorry for behaving so rudely with you, brother", he hugged me back. "I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, my little sister", he said.

All of a sudden while hugging, I punched on his stomach, he groaned in pain and I said, "This is for annoying me and flirting with your little sister." He chuckled and that had me to laugh too.

"Do you accept me as your brother?", James asked and I nodded. "So are you going to leave us?", Sean said in a sad tone. "Since I've got my real family, I should go back to where I belong but I'll never forget you guys. I'll always come to your place whenever I wish and no one can stop me", I said earning laughter from everyone.

"James, I think you should take over Blood Empire as it belonged to and will always belong to John. I was just the subordinate and I already decided to handover Blood Empire to Crystal on her birthday but now you're back so I think it's time for you to take back your responsibility and fulfill your dad's wish", dad said.

"Blood Empire already has a king. I can't take it. I've Night Empire", James said with a smile. "No, you have take over Blood Empire and handle it. It needs a new King as I'm getting old now and you're the most capable one", Dad said to James.

"Why don't we do one thing? Let's collaborate Night Empire and Blood Empire and it will be more powerful then", I suggested and everyone agreed to it and after a long arguement it was declared that the new King is James Smith. I was declared as the new CEO of N.E Groups which is now named as C.E Groups. C stands for Crystal and E stands Empire.

It's been two months, since I shifted to Crystal Heaven. My brother James named the mansion in my name. I'm so lucky to have such a loving and caring brother. I know earlier I hated him because I thought he was flirting with me but now I know he's my brother and I even asked him why he acted to like me and what he told was so unreasonable. 

He said that he didn't wanted any guy to come near me and that's why he flirted with me as no one would dare to come near his woman. I was like seriously brother? But he's so caring.

Also, now I know from where did I get that possessiveness, it's all inherent from my dear brother and I heard that my dad was the same while my mom was a calm and shy type. And just like me, my brother is known for his ruthlessness. Well, it should be the other way as I'm younger. And now I know why he was successful in beating me while fighting.

"Bro, listen to me. You can't tell him that you're the King and I'm the princess. He'll be scared bro", I pleaded as my brother is on his way to meet Alex. "Baby girl, I'll just meet him. Don't worry, I'll not beat him", he said on the other line of the call.

"Bro, I swear to you that if you touch him. I'll torture you even though you're the king", I warned him but he chuckled. "You think I'm scared to be tortured. And if it's my baby sister, I don't care if you even kill me", he said.

"Bro, if you don't stop then I'll..... I'll torture myself and kill myself", I said and heard a screech sound of the car. "No way. You're not gonna do it", he said in an angry tone. "Then you better listen to me", I demanded with a smirk.

"Fine. I can't win to you", he sighed. "I'll be going to the Empire Groups to attend some meeting", I informed me. "Okay but don't overwork and come home early", he said. "Yes, bro. I know", I said and hung up.

He has been saying the same thing everyday. He doesn't wants me to work too much and for that he even overloads himself with the work meant for me. Being the chairman of such big firm is not so easy and just like Empire Groups, C.E Groups also has companies in almost every sector which is hard to handle for one person.

I'm going to the Empire Groups now as I have some meeting to attend there. Even though I became the CEO of C.E Groups, dad didn't ask me to leave Empire Groups. I still call him dad as he's the only father figure I've ever had in my life and my old mom is still my mom.

"Wendy, what's the time of meeting?", I asked as I walked to the elevator. "Ma'am it's in 30 minutes", she informed. "Okay, let Alex know that I'm here and ask him to come to my office now", I ordered. "Sure, Ma'am", she said.

I went to my office and sat on the chair. After a while, came Alex. "Come and sit", I said with a wide smile. "What happened, ma'am?", he asked. I pouted and said, "Don't address be so formally. Call me honey."

"Did you miss me, baby?", I asked as I walked to his chair. "Crystal, we are impossible. Earlier you belonged to Jones and now Smith. Both are the world's richest and prestigious families while I'm a poor guy whom nobody knows", he said. I frowned.

"Everyone will know you once I announce you as my hubby. If you want I'll do it soon", I said with a smile. "Don't. Just leave me alone. We are not for each other. Our world is different", he said looking down.

"Then let's make our world one. If you love me I'll make sure to love you and our Alen for the rest of my life", I said with a smile. "But...", before he could finish I kissed him. "If you keep on going like that, I'll kiss you again", I said with a wink.

"Ma'am, the meeting is in 5 minutes", came Wendy's voice from outside. "Okay", I said. "I've a meeting to attend. See ya", I said and one last time pecked on his lips. I winked at him and left.
