Chapter 5

Crystal's POV:

It's been two weeks since Enen started coming to my home. It's really fun having him around. He came here almost everyday except the weekends. His dad seemed to be a nice man too as he sent gifts for us and even thanked us.

My baby still behaves really formally with me. But what can I say? It's not his fault. But my baby is really hardworking and talented. He prepared a really great report that too within a day. This man is really capable. I handed him the project then and there.

My brother Sean has yet to return from his trip. I miss him a lot. Suddenly I heard screech of car. I went downstairs. There entered my brother with a girl. Wait. A girl? Why is he with a girl? And who is she? She had bruises all over her body as if she was tortured.

"Sean, you're back. What happened to you? Why did you take so much time to complete that mission?", asked dad. "Oh, shut up. Stop your business talks here. My son is back after so many days. I missed you so much", mom went and hugged bro.

I ran to him and jumped on him hugging him tightly. He caught me and hugged me back. "I missed you so much", I said to him. "I miss you too, baby", he said. He put me down.

"Who's she?", I asked him looking at the girl. "Umm.... she....", he hesitated. Dad gave him a pointed look and mom was all confused. "Is she your girlfriend?", that girl asked softly. I glared at her and she shivered in fear as she hide behind bro.

"Don't touch him", I acted like his girlfriend. "I... I'm so...sorry", she said shivering terribly. Sean glared at me but I winked at him. I continued to act. "Baby sister, enough", he said with a chuckle.

"Who's she, Sean?", mom asked. "Mom, dad, baby sister... she's Roslin, I met her in Brazil while completing my mission and...", he stopped while I completed for him. "And he fell in love with her."

"Oh, then why are so scared? Are we going to eat you?", dad said. "Roslin, come here", dad called her and she looked at bro who nodded and walked towards dad. She was scared of dad. Of course she would be as he's the most feared man in the world known for his ruthlessness and cruelty.

"You're so beautiful, dear. Did this brat do something to you? If yes, just tell me. I'll teach him a lesson", dad said to Roslin as he caressed her hairs. I saw Roslin's eyes went teary. "Oh my, don't cry. He won't do anything to you from now on. We'll take care of you, sweety", mom said and hugged her as she glared at Sean.

"What? I didn't do anything to her", Sean said casually. "King, Queen, he saved me. Please don't punish him", Roslin said softly. "Then we will punish you", mom said and her eyes went wide. She suddenly kneeled and begged for forgiveness. Oh no, she must be badly tortured there.

"Get up. We won't punish you only if you call us mom and dad", mom said. Roslin looked at her and smiled. "Don't cry ever. Okay", mom consoled her. "And you... Don't even think of calling your parents when you get married?", dad glared at Sean.

"Sorry dad. Had to do it", Sean said scratching the back of his neck. "Okay, I'll forgive you since you got such a good daughter in law for me", he said and smiled at Roslin.

"Hey. I'm Crystal, your hubby's younger sister. You would have known that by the name he called me. By the way, mind me. Because I'm known for my extra kindness, you know what I mean, right?", I teased her. Mom glared at me. "Okay, sorry", I immediately said.

"I'm just ruthless for the people who mess up with me or my family not with my family and now you're our family. Welcome to the JONES FAMILY and BLOOD EMPIRE", I said happily and hugged her.

"Talking about Blood Empire, I'll give you the ring", Mom said to her. "Ring?", Roslin asked. "Our family's main thing, this emerald ring", I said showing her my ring. She nodded.

"But mom, is it safe to give her the ring?", I asked as I was worried that some people might try to harm her as she cannot fight properly. "I'm thinking the same", she said.

"But if we give her the ring, people will not dare to hurt her", I suggested and mom nodded.

In the evening, Roslin was given the ring. Her ring didn't show that much power like mine, dad, mom or Sean's but it was enough for protect her. I got to know so much about her. She has suffered so much earlier. She was being harassed everytime. I felt bad for me.

Roslin is British-Australian but her parents were killed in some attack when she went for a vacation in South America and since then she was kept there as a slave. She was locked there for six fucking years. She's 25 now. Now I promise that I'll not let my sister in law suffer anymore.

"Rosy, let's go for some shopping", I suggested but she denied. Maybe she's just scared. "What about going for a movie?", she again denied. "Why are you scared now? I'll be there to protect you and no one will dare to look at you when I'm there with you", I assured her. After a lot of arguments, she agreed to go for shopping.

"We'll buy you new clothes, shoes, accessories and everything as I want you to wear everything new", I said to her as the driver drove us to one of the mall. We got down and went inside.

"Rosy, come here", I said dragging her to one of the shop. I liked liked the dresses there so we went to other shops and we got many things. I took her to the Gucci store and bought shoes and perfumes then went to Chanel and got her bags. She was literally begging me to stop. Finally I stopped after 3 hours.

We went back home and damn I was really tired now. I quickly took shower and went off to sleep without bothering to have dinner. I heard mom calling me but I was too tired to answer her.

Next day, I went to office and first thing I did was to go and meet my baby. "Are you done with your final reports, ba... Alex?", I asked. "Yes, ma'am. Here's is the final report. You can have a look at it", he said handing me the file.

We talked about the project for sometimes and then he got up to leave but I intruded. "Yes, ma'am. Anything else?", he asked. "Firstly, please don't call me ma'am. Call me Crystal or Cristie. I'm much younger to be called ma'am. At least by you", I said that last part in a low tone.

"But you're my superior. I can't call you by name", he said respectfully. "It's ok. I don't mind", I said with a smile and he nodded. "So what I was saying is. Last time I got some work when you asked me to dine with you so.... can we have dinner tonight?", I asked. He thought and then said, "Sure, ma.... Crystal." I was happy that he called me by my name.

"So we'll leave after work", I said and he nodded. He left my office.

In the evening I was waiting outside the the technology department. Alex came and a wide smile appeared on my face. "Let's go", I said and we made our way to my car. We settled inside and I looked at him.

"Crystal, you can choose the restaurant", he said. "That day you invited me to your home. So let's go there", I said. "Okay", he said and gave his address to my driver.

Suddenly my mobile rang. It was my brother. Not this time man! "Yeah bro?", I asked as I picked the call. "Baby sister, come home", he said. "Why?", I almost yelled.

"Because there's a party and we have to leave for that. I told you about it. Don't you remember?", he said. Damn, I almost forgot it. "I'm not going. You all leave", I said. He asked me the reason.

"I'm having dinner with someone", I said and he asked me who it was. "Bro, talk to you later. Bye", with that I hung up.

"Is it important?", Alex asked and I immediately nodded in no. "Okay", he said.

We reached his placed and surprisingly he lives in the same area as Alen. I wonder if they know each other. "We are here", he said and we got down. We walked to the building and took stairs as the elevator was out of use. His apartment was on second floor.

"My house is not so big like yours", he said and I looked at him. "It's okay. It doesn't matters", I said with a smile. Why does he lives here? I even promoted him now. He can buy a big apartment. I've to do something.

"Will they also come inside?", Alex asked me gathering my attention. I looked at him and blinked a few times. He pointed towards my bodyguards. "Oh, no no. They'll stay outside", I said.

"But young miss....", one of them was about to say something but I cut him off by my glare and he knew that he should keep quiet. Alex opened the door and we got inside. It wasn't some luxurious place like mine but it was cozy. I like it.

"Please make yourself at home", he said with a smile. I smiled back and sat on the couch in the living room. Suddenly there was some sound from inside. I immediately went on alert mode.

"Daddy, is that you?", came a voice from inside. Daddy? Who's it that calls my baby daddy? A boy around 4-5 years came out. I couldn't see his face as his back was towards me.
