Chapter 4

Crystal's POV:

I went to the office with dad. I heard some people talking about me. "The CEO is so ruthless. I heard Mr Leo was being punished by her. Rumours say that she kills anyone without thinking", a lady said.

"She thinks she can do anything just because she's the Mafia Princess", came another voice.

"Seems like I didn't give you enough work. Do you wanna see how I kill people?", I asked them. They started trembling in fear. I rolled my eyes, if they can't bear the result why do they talk?

"We are sorry, ma'am. Please forgive us", they said and bowed. "Get lost. Don't get on my nerves", I said in a cold voice. They immediately ran away. I went back to my office. It was 1 pm now. I've one more hour to pick Enen.

"Wendy, do I have any other meeting today?", I asked her. "Yes, ma'am. You've a meeting with the CEO of NS Corporation...", I cut her off. "Cancel all the meetings and conferences. I'm going home", I said to her.

"But ma'am, the meeting....", I again cut her off by my glare. "Who's the boss?", I asked and she said you. "Then listen to me and do as I say. Be a good girl and cancel my meeting then you can take the day off too", I said and she smiled that she can go home too. I informed dad that I was leaving.

Suddenly someone came into my office. I rolled my eyes at the person. "Don't you any work?", I asked. "I have", he said with a smile. "Then go and do it, you stinky man", I said to him. "I'm doing my work which is to annoy you", he said and pinched my nose.

"Get out", I yelled. "Nope", he said and stood firmly. "What do you want?", I asked him with a bored expression. "Food. Let's go have lunch", he said in such a way that made me laugh at him. "I can't. Someone is going to have lunch with me and I can't cancel it", I said.

"Your boyfriend?", he asked with a teasing look. "A little boyfriend", I said with a smile. "Oh my god. Don't tell me you're interested in younger boys?", he said. "Shut up!"

"Okay then I'll join you", he said. I nodded. "Let's go. We have to pick him up", I said and put my arm around his neck but he was taller than me. When we were small he was shorter than me but now he grew up taller. I'm 5'7" but he's much taller than me.

"You can't reach me", he said and put his arms over my shoulder. "Ok. Ok", I said and we both started laughing. We both may fight a lot but we know each other more than anyone else would know us.

We walked out of my office and I saw many girls looking at him with lust and desire. "Damn, these stupid girls like your stinky look", I said with a look that said are you serious? "You don't appreciate my good looks that doesn't means that others won't like me", he said as he sent flirtatious looks and winks at them.

"Yeah, yeah. They didn't live with you since childhood so they don't know you", I said teasingly. He looked at me as if I was his enemy but it was all fake. I started laughing at his face. He really was handsome. Who will not like those ocean blue eyes and that handsome looks?

Suddenly I saw Alex and I ran to him leaving Charles behind. "Hi", I said as I reached him. "Ma'am I was coming to you. I prepared the reports", he said with a smile. Oh, my baby is so hardworking. I'm just falling for you more and more.

"You're so hardworking. Give it to Wendy as I'm leaving now", I said with a smile. He nodded and left. Come on baby. Don't go away. Why do you behave so formally with me? Someone patted my shoulder, I turned to see Charles.

"Let's go", I said and just like we were walking earlier we went down to his car. "Drive to Little Blossoms Kindergarten", I ordered. "Am I your servant that you're ordering me?", he asked.

"Are you not?", I glared at him. "Of course. You are, my princess", he said immediately. "Good boy", I said patting his head. "Do you think I'm afraid of you?", he asked with with a proud look. "Are you not?", I asked back with raised brows.

"Of course I am, boss", he said and drove us to the kindergarten. I chuckled at his childishness. I just never want to lose this man. Even though I bullied him and annoyed him so much in the past but he's still here sitting with me. He always stayed with me when I cried. He might not be there when I'm happy but you'll always find him near me when I'm sad.

Once when he was in high school. He got drunk and that day he made me really angry. He said he's not afraid of me and I annoy him, bully him, etc. But what he said next was really heart touching. He said that he's afraid I'll leave him and break the friendship so he let's me annoy him. That day I decided to never let him leave my side. I might sound greedy but I'm lucky to have him.

"Here we are", he said as we reached the kindergarten. We got down and I looked around for Enen. After a while, I saw him coming out of the school. "Enen", I shouted.

"Pretty lady", he called out and ran towards me. He hugged me. "Who's this?", he asked looking at Charles. "I'm her husband", Charles said. I gave him a look that said what did you say? "Is he really your husband, pretty lady?", Enen asked.

"No, no. He's my stinky friend", I said. "Does he stinks? But he smells good", Enen sniffed him and said. "It's because he sprayed perfume now. When he stays at home, he stinks because he doesn't bath", I said scrunching my nose.

"Oh is it? And who's the one who didn't like to bath after workout?", Charles asked. "You", I said with a smile. He stuck his tongue out to tease me but I held it tightly. "Now tease me", I said pulling his tongue. "So... sorry", he said as his saliva stuck on my fingers. I pulled my hands back and wiped it on his suit jacket.

"Hey what are you doing?", he asked as I wiped my hand. "Cleaning my hands", I said. "Hey you tomato, stop it", he said and I wiped. "What did you call me?", I asked and he started teasing me with different names. Except my brother only he dares to call me with those names. I'd have killed others if they dared to call me with those names.

"You pig", I said and slapped his head. "Ou! It hurts", he whined. "Let's go. He must be hungry and so am I", I said and we headed to his car. I made Alen sit in the back seat and I sat in the passenger seat.

"Which restaurant, boss?", Charles asked. "No. Not restaurant. Drive to home, mom already prepared lunch for us", I said and Charles excitedly jumped like a kid. "Did aunty cooked today?", he asked and I nodded. He was like a small kid. He loves the food cooked by mom.

"Hello, aunty. How are you?", Charles asked and kissed mom's cheeks. "I'm good, my son.... Oh is this the little boy?", mom asked looking at Alen who seemed a bit scared. "Alen, this is my mom. Say hello", I said and he respectfully greeted mom.

"Young miss, should I prepare your bath?", asked the maid and I nodded. "Enen, go and get freshen up. This aunt will help you", I said gesturing towards some maids but he denied.

"I don't have a change of clothes with me", Enen said.

"Don't worry, I got some clothes for you so that you can change. Now go", I said but he still denied. "Ok, how about you bath with me?", Charles suggested. He nodded lightly. Damn, was he shy?

Charles, went to the room that's especially kept for him at our house and got freshen up. I too took my bath and wore white shorts and a peach color top with my white shoes. I went downstairs to find Charles and Enen already sitting in the dining room.

"Enen, do you like the tshirt?", I asked and he happily nodded. "Young miss, have this. Young master Charles, please have this", the maids served us. Mom too sat as she was waiting for us to come and didn't have her lunch.

"Why does they call him young master?", Enen asked looking at me. "Because he's my friend and he's the son of my dad's best friend", I reasoned but I don't think that would be convincing enough but he was convinced. "Do you want to be called as young master too?", mom asked and he quickly nodded.

"From now on he's your little master. Obey him and respect him", mom said to everyone and they all bowed. "Everyone must protect their little master. If anything happens to him then you know what will happen, right?", I said in my cold tone and everyone shivered in fear. They all nodded and bowed to me.

"Happy?", I asked to Enen and he nodded. "Woah, princess is angry", Charles teased me. I glared at him. "Do you have a split personality? Just now you were cold and now you're so innocent", he said. I shrugged my shoulder.

"You really are the princess of Empires", he said as he ate his lunch. I smirked at him.

After the lunch, Enen, Charles and I played together. It was fun. He got friendly with everyone at our home. Even mom liked him so much. Mom even asked him to call her granny..

"Wow, pretty lady. Your house is so much big", he said with a wide smile. "Do you like it?", I asked and he nodded. "I can play so many things here. There's so much place to run and even a big garden and game room", he said excitedly. I chuckled. Charles got really close to him and they both enjoyed each other's company.

In the evening, I dropped Enen home safely. Mom even baked cupcakes for him to take home. He was really happy with us. I'm really glad that he enjoyed at my place.
