Chapter 2

Crystal's POV:

I was walking back home when I heard gunshots and by that I knew that those idiots are here. I looked at my bodyguards who gave a nod that they were ready. Those guys just can't stay quiet and let others live quietly.

I took my gun out and shot one guy but there were still some men. I shot three men but the bullets got over and I didn't have extra bullets with me. Shit!

I hide behind the wall. My bodyguards were fighting those people. I got out and saw two men coming towards me. One man tried to kick me but I easily dodged it. I slide down and kicked one of the man as he was about to hold me. Suddenly I heard sound of gunfire.

"Ouch!", I said as the bullet went through my left arm. "You son of a bitch", I yelled as I kicked the man who shot me. I punched him continuously until he was on the ground. I took his gun and stood up pointing at him.

"Did you forget who I am? Don't you know that I don't spare anyone who crosses my path?", I asked pointing the gun at him while my foot on his stomach as I pressed hard where he was injured.

"Princess, I beg your forgiveness. Please spare me", he begged. "You would have thought this before attacking me. Don't you know I don't think twice before killing anyone? Or you just wanted to try me?", I asked with a smirk but in a serious tone.

"I know I've made mistake. Please kill me", he said when I was about to pull the trigger but I withdrawn. "Since you're ready to die. It's not fun", I said with a pout as i gestured my bodyguards. "Take him to the basement. I'll deal with him in a while", I ordered. They bowed and took him as he was continuously pleading me to spare him but I just acted as if I can't hear him. He should have thought before he attacked me foolishly.

I reached home and saw bro, mom and dad outside. "Are you okay?", dad came and asked. "All good", I said with a wide smile but he noticed my bleeding arm. "I'll not spare anyone of them", dad roared.

"Come on, dad. You think I'd have spared them?", I asked and he smiled with a nod. "I told you not to fight but you don't listen to me", mom scolded as she came towards me.

"Don't you get hurt?", mom asked while bandaging my wound. "Mom, I've been shot earlier too. Why do you get so emotional whenever we get hurt?", I asked her. "Because I don't want you people to be hurt at all", she said wrapping the bandage around my arm and tied it firmly.

"Thank god, they didn't hurt you much", dad said in a relieved tone. "How can they hurt the princess of Blood Empire? They are fools to attack us", I said with a smirk. "What do you want to do with that man? I'll deal with him and let him know what it's like to hurt the princess of the underworld", Sean asked.

"Bro, don't worry. I'll handle him alone. I didn't have fun from a few days. I'll keep him for my entertainment", I said to which he chuckled along with mom and dad but they all nodded.

"I'll go to my room now", I said and went to my room. I took a great bath and came out in my pyjama. I was too tired to think about anything so I just slept. I'll deal with that bastard tomorrow.

In the morning, I went downstairs and greeted everyone. I was about to take a bit of my omelet when dad said, "Where's your ring?" I looked at my hand and forgot that I took it last night as it was stained with blood.

"I kept it in my vanity. Can you please get my ring?", I asked one of the maid. "Don't remove it often. What if you lose it?", mom said to me. I nodded. It's an emerald ring surrounded with diamonds. My parents as well as my brother has this ring. My dad's ring is the most important one as he's the leader and king of underworld and his ring has a big emerald ring followed by my mom's ring as she's his wife as she's his wife and the queen. The ring had the letters B & E written inside the emerald. Not all the family members have the rings only those who are involved important one's are having it.

"Thanks", I said as the maid handed me my ring. I wore it in my left hand.

I went office with bro as dad had some other work. I just wanted to see my baby right now. Last night I didn't get the chance to eat with him. I miss him already.

"Jacob, where are you?", I said on call. Jacob is my personal assistant. I can't drag Wendy in any of my personal cases much and I don't even trust her so much yet. Jacob had been with me since I was 10. He's 3 years older than me. He's not only my assistant but a good friend too. He's one of the member of Blood Empire.

"I'm with uncle as he wanted me to accompany him. Why?", he said. "Okay, meet me after that in my office", I said to him. He agreed. "By the way, where did you and dad go?", I asked him as dad didn't tell me where he was going.

"It's about yesterday's attack. He's angry because you were hurt", he said. "Okay. Meet me as soon as you finish that work", I said and hung up. I called Wendy in my office and asked her to call Alex.

There was a knock after sometimes. "Come in", I said and entered my handsome baby. "Good morning, ma'am", he said respectfully. "Good morning, ba.... Mr Miller", I said and gestured him to sit. I was just on the edge to call him baby. Damn!

"Why did you call me?", he asked innocently. Aww, my baby is so cute. Now I want him more. I cleared all the thoughts and focused. "There's a new project and I want you to make a report on that", I said to him. I wanna see his capabilities. "Okay, ma'am", he said.

"You can take as much time as you want", I said with a smile. He nodded and went out. I was disappointed as went too quickly. "Send Leo in my office now", I ordered to Wendy on the intercom.

After a while, Leo entered with a file. He looked tired and had dark circles under his eyes. He got himself into this. This is his fault to bully my baby. I've been rejecting his reports since yesterday and he prepared three reports already.

"Ma'am, here's the report", he said and gave me the reports. I acted to read and said, "Its not upto my expectation. Prepare again." His eyes widened as he said, "Ma'am I'm sorry. I swear I'll never bully anyone. Please forgive me. You can even fire me but please forgive me. I've not slept for the whole night." I wanted to laugh but I controlled.

"I won't fire you that easily and I won't let you resign either. You're to be demoted to the junior position in group A", I said and asked him to leave.

I was working when someone knocked. I looked up to see Jacob. I smiled as he entered. "What happened? Why did you call me so urgently?", he asked as he sat on the chair in front of me.

"I want you to protect someone", I said to him. "Whom?", he asked. I smirked and said, "Alex Miller, my employee." He smirked and asked, "Why does the ruthless princess wants to protect her employee? This is the first time I'm seeing you care for someone except for your family."

"Do as I say. He's going to be your brother in law in the future", I said sternly and blushed slightly. What? I blushed? This is new!! "Woah! The mafia princess is blushing", he said teasingly. I glared at him but that didn't stop him from laughing at me. Only he can dare to laugh at me. If it was someone else I'd have killed him then and there.

"Stop laughing. Don't tell this to anyone. Especially my dad and bro. They'll overdo it", I said and he nodded. "I want you to arrange a few bodyguards and protect him. If anything happens to him, I'll destroy everyone", I said in a serious tone. He nodded and got up.

It was 4 pm and I was bored as I had no meeting or work anymore so I decided to go and have some fun with my new toy, the man I caught yesterday. I asked my driver to drive me to there.

I went inside the underground dungeon where we keep the people we catch. I walked to the third cell in the left to find that man chained. "Who let him sleep? Do you all wanna die?", I yelled and the bodyguards went and slapped him.

I sat on the armchair kept for me to sit. "Break his fingers so that he won't be able to the gun again", I ordered and the fingers were broken. He groaned in pain and begged, "I beg your forgiveness, princess. It was my biggest mistake to attack you."

"Aww. What's the point of regretting now?", I said with a smirk and gestured the guards to break his legs. "You dare to attack Blood Empire. I think you're tired of living. And your stupid of the boss is gonna be here in a while to accompany you soon and I'll personally kill him. How dare you attack in our area? Seems like the Riot Starters are tired of living. Enjoy yourself", I said getting up from the chair.

"Don't let him sleep or else.... Do I need to remind you all?", I asked in a cold tone and everyone nodded in no and bowed to me. Whoever dares to kill innocents not only in our area but anywhere I see has to die. That's my own rule.

I was passing by when I saw a little boy being bullied by some older boys. I asked my driver to stop. He came down and opened the door for me. I went to take a look at what's happening. My bodyguards followed me.

"What's happening here?", I asked in my usual cold tone. "Get away from our matter", a teen boy said. He's ordering me? "Hey you. Look here. I'm not here to take your fucking orders. Mind your language while talking to elders", I said. They turned to see me.

"A girl is here to stop us", he said. There were about four boys. "Why? Can't I stop you all?", i asked with raised brow. "Girls are weak", he said with a smirk. "You think too highly of yourself. You know when I was of your age I was fighting with my enemies", I said.

"Then come fight with me", he challenged. "Sorry, kiddo. I don't beat kids and especially mindless kids", I teased with a smirk. "I was controlling my anger because you're a girl but seems like I need to teach you", he said and tried to punch me but I gripped his fist and turned him around.

"Don't think that all girls are weak", I said and pushed him. "She must be rich. Look there are so many bodyguards behind her", one of them said. Suddenly, one of the guy gasped loudly. "What happened?", the boy who was speaking too much asked.

"Look, they are having the batch of Blood Empire. She's must be the member of Blood Empire. Don't mess up with her", the boy who gasped said. All four of them looked at me and asked, "Are you the heiress the Empire Groups?"

"What if I am?", I asked back. "Oh shit. Let's run away. I heard that the heiress of Empire Groups is really heartless", one of them said and ran away. The three of them ran away but that boy still standing there.

"What?", I asked. "You're really beautiful", he said and ran away. What?! This guy was blushing. Damn!
