The Something

The sun comes up through the mountains, the sky begins to brighten, and the animals are already awake. The sun that has poked through the curtains are now on my eyes. As I am wake up, I get out of bed, still sleepy and unable to concentrate. I open the window curtains, only to notties a cloud. But, not just any cloud, a black cloud, that is coming in. It was getting closer asand the sun was growing weaker. This continued until the sun was completely covered and the day was turned into night.

I take a minute, unable to react to what I have seen. I watch as others come out to see what has happened. Almost instily the town was in a panic. I turned around and got dressed, barely able to see with the lit candlethat I now held in my hand. I rush outside as I hear people screaming and yelling. Screaming, yelling, and crying for help, then I heard something, it came closer and closer. More and more people, the town’s people cried and yelled for help. Then I realized the shocking truth. There was something else in the town that night. A monster.

The monsters. They kept coming. They were so close I could almost see them with the little light I had. I couldn’t tell want they were. It was as if the came along with that black cloud of nothingness. I blew out the candle so they couldn’t,t see he. It was of no use now as I couldn’t even see my ow feet. I slowly walked away, but then I stepped on a branch. It created a noise. Then suddenly it was silent, but then I heard a noise. It was coming. It was running towards me. I just knew it. I Just ran. I ran as fast as I could. It was just in front of me and I couldn’t get away, as its mouth opened I saw its bloody and sharp teeth. I tried to run away, but as I ran I tripped on a rock and couldn't move. My leg won't move and I was in deep pain. It came closer and closer with every passing second. It opened its mouth and roared. Blood was on my face and I closed my eyes in horror.

As I screamed at the top of my lungs, I had woken up. I was almost out of breath. Then I realized I was in my room. The same room from which I had woken up from the day before and left. I get up to open the window curtains. The sun was coming through the mountains, the sky begins to brighten, and the animals are already awake. I was glad that it was all just a dream. A dream from which will never happen. Will not unless...Today is…YESTERDAY!?
