After a week....

Tae's POV

"C'mon Tae how many days will you spend sitting in your room?..." Jimin asked.

I have been spending most of my time at the dorm just sitting in my room and going through albums which had photos of me and Jungkook together.

He had been there with me at times when even my parents weren't there for me.

At my graduation day also Jungkook was the only family I had to support me. And really, that was just enough. I didn't need anyone when he was there.

But now.... I feel like an important part of me was missing and nobody could fill that empty space.

I remembered the promise I made to Jungkook. I had to overcome from the depression and live the life like I always wanted, but those things are better said than done.

I just couldn't get myself to even stand up without Kookie. But I also knew deep down that things couldn't always go in my way.

"....okay.... " I sighed and answered Jimin.

"Yay!!" he jumped in excitement.

He literally dragged me out of my room and made me go with him wherever he wanted to take me to.

After some minutes of driving we reached to a beautiful house. Jimin got out of the car first and opened the door for me.

I just simply smiled towards him. We then entered the unknown house.

Jimin opened the door without even knocking and that made me little more confused.

"SURPRISE!!" I noticed many people were there inside the house.

Jimin also joined them and I was just standing at the door dumbstruck.

Jin hyung, Namjoon hyung, Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung along with Jimin, all started to sing birthday song.

Happy Birthday to you"

I didn't know when a smile creeped onto my face. I was just dumbfounded that it was my birthday.

I didn't even remember the date today. I guess the reality really hit me like a truck.

All of my hyungs dragged me inside.

I noticed there were seven plates instead of six.

"Jin hyung... why are there seven plates?" I asked hyung.

"Don't you want one for Jungkook too?" he replied and flicked my forehead.

I smiled my boxy smile at him and then began cutting my cake.

I placed the first piece on one plate and stuffed the other one in Jin hyung's mouth.

Then we celebrated my birthday.

Everyone was playing games in the backyard but I excused myself.

I went to the dining table and sat on one of the chairs.

"Happy Birthday TaeTae..." I felt a soft voice speak from beside me.

"Thank you my love.." I replied.

Even though I knew he was just my imagination but I couldn't help but remember our moments together.

He smiled his bunny smile towards me and held my hands in his own. We intertwined our hands together.

"Don't ever feel like I'm not there with you.. I'm always here.." he said and placed his another hand on my heart.

My eyes started filling with tears but he shook his head.

"No... If you will cry, that would mean I will also cry. You are living for both of us, remember..."

I didn't let my tears flow away and smiled brightly towards him.

He leaned in and kissed my lips.

When I opened my eyes, he was not there anymore but knew he was always by my side.
