Two years had passed.

Jun and Nate were now in college while Eun was in his last year of high school.

And Eun’s parents decided he could live by himself so they went back to Russia.

Today was the cultural festival day Eun’s classmate had compromised on a play about “Romeo and Juliet”. Eun was to play the role of Paris with the compromise from his classmates.

His classmate asked to be Romeo but he refused. He was only outgoing with his close circle of friends. Otherwise he was shy.

The play was a success and ended up giving them third place for the festival.

At his break time he went to search for his friends. Nate had promised he be there. How could he miss his “sunshine’s performance”.

But Jun wasn’t with him.

Eun saw Nate and started beaming. He searched for Jun with no luck so Nate told him “Jun is busy today so he might not be able to come.”

Eun like a puppy slouched down.

“Hey you’re gonna hurt my feelings if you act like that” joked Nate.

Eun smiles and showed Nate around. Eun’s break ended so he went back to the play with Nate as an audience.

After that play Eun was really tired, too tired for a normal teenager. He almost looked pale.

And he suddenly threw a coughing fit with it stopping after blood came out.

Nate became pale when he saw Eun and he immediately rushed Eun to the hospital.

A few hours later Nate came in to Eun’s hospital room.

It had turn to dusk.

Eun was looking at the moon but when he heard a noise he turned towarded it.

Eun saw who it was and said to him “Nate look at the moon,” as he pointed towards the moon.

Nate was still silent.

He smiled and said “Fly me to the moon when I die,”

Nate went up to Eun his eyes were red. Eun instantly asked him what had happened.

Nate didn’t want Eun to know of his situation so he didn’t say anything. But Eun forced to tell him.

“You have a terminal disease.”

Eun’s smile broke instantly. He then asked “what’s my life expectancy?”

Nate but his lips not wanting to say anything but continued to answer the question “more or less 5 years with the combined diseases.”

They still had a few more days until the break ended so Eun stayed in the hospital not telling anyone.

Those 5 days were filled with Eun having to make a decision. Of whether to be treated or not.

Eun wanted to see his hyung to tell him the news so he sneaked out of the hospital.

Jun thought it was unusual how Eun didn’t visit his house the last 5 days but he was still in school so he focused on the subject first.

Eun went. But his hyung was with a girl.

He didn’t know why his heart was hurting. But he just ignored it.

He saw the girl clinging to Jun, his eyebrows creased “why was hyung being so close to this girl?”

Angry he confronted Jun about it.

Jun who had fun seeing the jealoused Eun lied and said she was his girlfriend.

He felt miserable as soon as he heard that. He calmly congratulated Jun and left relunctantly without telling Jun the real reason he came.

Jun disappointed with the response he got up went back to his house. Sighing endlessly.
