Episode 11: the legendary drift

“Eclair, are you alright?” asked Hawk.

“Hawk you better connect the CCTV to my car, I can’t see what’s happening there” said Feng.

“I’m fine guys, relax. Hawk! I want you to record everything and turn it into a live broadcast for all the big heads in the world.” she said.

“I can do it but I need few minutes.” he replied.

“I can save you some time, also after it’s on I need you guys to switch off your microphones. The people who watch should only hear mine and Shadow’s voice” she continued.

“Are you out of your mind?” said Feng.

“Feng, you have to do it for me.” she said.

“FINE!” he ended angry. *TUT* the sound went off.

*DING, DING, DING...* messages came to all the gang bosses, group leaders, presidents and most known businessmen in the world. All of them opened the files. Nobu was also one of those people and got a shock when he saw Chen’s car.

“It’s on! ” *TUT* he replied and switched off his microphone too.

Eclair rolled down her window and took out her father’s pistol, pointing it at the driver 1’s head. In that moment Shadow realized that the person in front of him, can only be Chen.

“You, son of a b*tch! You should have died one year ago on the bridge!” said Shadow in his car without knowing Eclair’s plan.

When she heard what Shadow said, Eclair shot the guy out of anger, leaving everyone speechless.

“Seems like Chen won’t forgive any of us who went against him. He is even more ruthless than before.” said one of the snippers a bit terrified.

“That’s because that’s not Chen, my friend” Hawk replied.

“When did you get behind us?” asked the other snipper who came in the same place before.

“Relax, I’m not here to kill you, unless you go against boss.” Hawk replied throwing a cigarette to one of them.

“If it isn’t Chen, then who is it? Nobody could ever drive like Chen. This person easily uses the White Lion without any difficulty.” said the other snipper.

“I can only tell you to continue watching.” he replied.

Shadow went crazy when he saw driver 1 shot and started his car in order to chase Eclair. Eclair started the car and drove in reverse till the first corner when she drifted and got the car turned back to normal. The people watching the broadcast were all shocked thinking that Chen is back and he wants revenge. Some of them started to panick, and some of them were happy for the new business projects they can finally do again with Pagoda. Nobu was the only one trying to figure out what the hell is happening and why Chen hasn’t contact him if he really is alive.

Shadow chased Eclair and tried to hit her car but she was drifting perfectly in each corner. It was impossible for Shadow to touch her.

“Chen, Chen, always showing off! You always think you are the best, today I will show you that you’re not!” said Shadow.

The people watching were discussing about the situation and they realized that if Chen really came back and takes revenge on everyone, it’s going to be a war.

Eclair pressed the acceleration and drove faster almost into the corner. Shadow was following her and said “This time you’ll be dead even if it means to die together.”.

“What the hell is she doing?! She knows that is a sharp curve right after this corner. With that speed there is no way she will avoid it.” thought Feng worried.

“Sh*t, this car is harder to control than the one I’ve practice with.” thought Eclair turning the steering wheel.

“Haha, go and die Chen!” said Shadow pressing the acceleration to push her.

“D*mn it!” said Hawk.

“What’s the matter Hawk? Looks like your so called boss won’t be able to make it” said one of the snippers getting his gun ready to shoot Hawk.

“D*mn it, I only got one option left. Don’t let me disappoint my dad.” thought Eclair thinking about her father.

“Farewell, White Lion!” said Shadow while trying to push Eclair to hit the edge.

“I’m the Black Wolf, not Chen!” said Eclair and made her move.

“HUH?!” Everyone was shocked to see her move and remained silent. Eclair made a slight turn in the opposite direction before entering a corner. She did not only come back to her initial position, but also left space for Shadow to get a direct hit. His car broke the bar then fell down over the cliff and exploded.
