Episode 10

“I don’t have time to explain you everything. Jin is not that stupid. He wants to set a trap for us. While we will be all waiting in the tunnel, he will exit through the back door and use the side track. It’s just my theory, but he must be scared so this can be his only option. I’m counting on you!” she said to them while driving dangerously.

“Yes, boss!” they replied.

“Now let’s get the show started!” she thought.

“Sh*t! This guy is driving better than I thought” said driver 1.

“He might be driving good, but he can’t drive better than Chen” said driver 2.

“Huh?! He knows my father?” thought Eclair after listening their conversation.

“Hawk! Who’s the second driver?” asked Eclair.

*ARGH* sounds of pain. Hawk was beating and killing the security guards from inside the building, then took out his device and looked on it.

“Hmm, let me see. He’s called Shadow. People call him like that because he was always in Chen’s shadow. He never managed to beat your father. I heard, he hates him the most and after his death, Shadow was the first one who took Jin’s side.

“Ok, go on with your mission. I’ll handle it from here.” said Eclair.

“Envious of my father, huh? You wouldn’t be the only one, but you’ll definitely be the next one on my payback list.” she thought.

“Feng, all good with you?” she asked.

“Yes, miss! What could possibly happen to the second best driver?” said Feng confident with a smile.

“Listen Feng, if you lose Jin, I’ll crample your legs and you won’t be able to drive again. I have a bad feeling about this matter, be careful.” she continued.

“Jesus! Be more gentle, I know, don’t worry!” he answered.

“I’ll beat anyone who stays in my way and after this I will proudly tell you how I really feel!” he thought. Feng took a turn and drove to the exit of the underground tunnel.

“Does this guy think this is a game? I’ll teach him a lesson” said Shadow pressing the pedal. The people who stopped fighting, gathered together and watched the race. After all they used to be a single team before united by Chen for racing. The snippers forgot about it as well and they were watching the race from the top floor.

“This guy is not bad, he controls the car almost as good as master Chen himself” said one of them.

“Do you think it’s White Lion?” asked the other one.

“The car is definitely the White Lion, as for the driver, I don’t think so. He died an year ago in a car accident” replied the first one.

“What a pity! I heard he was the best racer in the world.” said the second one.

“Mm, the XGT was named the White Lion, because that was Chen’s code name. He was one with his car.” replied the first one.

“Trying to catch up , Shadow?” I’ll show you something to remember. When you say my father’s name you need to adress him with ” she thought and reversed the car. Everyone looked startled at the move she made. Eclair was driving in reverse and drifting exactly like her father. The people watching the scene, put down their guns and completely gave up fighting.

Some of them were watching excited at their master driving and some were watching worried about Eclair’s safety.

Shadow on the other side just got more pissed.

“Big deal, I can do the same!” thought driver 1. Unfortunately he has never met Chen and he didn’t know whom he’s going against. Eclair was even more merciless than her father. He pressed the acceleration as well. He tried to catch up with Eclair and do the same moves, but that move is not something one can do from the first try. “Hawk! Cut down their communication ability. I have a plan.” she said accelerating her car. “Roger that!” he replied.

“Idiot, don’t chase him, it’s a trap!” Shadow tried to say to his colleague, but his microphone wasn’t working. “Damn it!” he continued slamming the steering wheel.

Driver 1 managed to reverse the car and speed up to keep up with her. Unfortunately Eclair was too fast for him. When the corner came, he pressed the break to drift but Eclair turned the car in reverse and stopped. The driver drifted with high speed and lost control of the car, hitting the edge bar multiple times strongly. After the car finally stopped, smoke started to come out. Driver 1 managed to get out of the car but he was heavily bleeding. Shadow came from back and saw the scene. Eclair was facing driver 1 with her car and start revving her engine to provoke Shadow for a race.
