Episode 7: Welcome back, master

“I’m changing. Stop looking at me like you have never seen a woman in lingerie before.” she answered while wearing some of the old clothes Feng removed from the closet. “How can you let your guard down with two men in the same room?” asked Feng angry that someone else than him saw Eclair ***** as well.

“Even if there were 10 people in this room, I’d make sure any move they take is going to be their last. Even breathing counts as a move. Understood?” said Eclair with a murderous look on her face wearing a black leather jacket. “Now, give me your hat!” she continued and then took out a small box out of her pocket. Feng threw her the hat holding his breath .

Hawk took his hand to the forehead seeing how Feng took Eclair so serious and thought “She will never do that to us you idiot, why are you holding your breath?”. Then he continued saying “Ok, so Feng, you and me enter first, otherwise they might attack us if they see Eclair’s car.” said Hawk. Eclair put on the hat, used what was inside the box and then covered her mouth with the black mask she was wearing before. She turned over to them and said “Who said I’m taking my car?” “EH?!” Feng and Hawk had a shock looking at Eclair’s appearance.

Feng and Hawk entered Zone 2 and 3 with their cars. 12 people were waiting for them with guns and racing cars ready for a fight. A strong car engine sound broke the silence and everyone looked startled. The white XGT shined like an angel’s halo in the sunlight. All the people bowed and said “Welcome back, master Chen!”. Feng and Hawk got out of their cars. “Man, she’s really something” said Hawk to Feng. “I left without words when I saw her wearing lenses and that clothes. Even I couldn’t recognize her.” replied Feng.

“Stop talking and let’s get down to business” said Eclair to them through the radio. “Eclair..master’s car is strong, nobody but him was able to drive it well, let alone racing as him” said Hawk concerned. “This car has a new master and I’m sure it won’t disappoint me!” said Eclair. Hawk looked at Feng worried about her and Feng said “Well, there’s nothing we can do to stop you now, but don’t over do it. You know very well what can happen if you can’t control it.” .

“If there is something, I have ever felt in my life stronger than revenge, that is love and passion for racing.” she said on a serious tone. That’s when Feng and Hawk realized that after all, her entire life was just about racing and fighting. They couldn’t possibly compete with her motivation and power.

“Are we all set now?” she asked.

“Yes boss!” they replied.

“The drone is on its way to you. Everything will be sent to Jin automatically.” continued Hawk. Eclair opened the window and looked into the drone’s camera that came close to her by Hawk’s controller. She took out her gun saying “I’m back” clearly so anyone could have read her lips and then she shot the drone. “Nice shot, I missed that!” said Feng. “Hehe, you gonna see many more of that. Let’s see Jin’s move after this.” she continued. Feng made a sign with his hand to the other members that is time to go. “Hawk, you sure they know what they need to do?” asked Feng. “I think Eclair’s disguise has played the most important part in this. They think their master’s is back and they want to take revenge for their hard time here with Jin.” replied Hawk. “Yeah, she becomes smarter and smarter, more and more beautiful and harder and harder for me to reach.” said Feng on a low voice.

“She won’t easily settle down for someone, Feng. No one can tame her, but herself.” replied Hawk patting his shoulder.

*BANG, BANG, BANG* The sound of gun fire interrupted their conversation. Both of them turned their heads to where the sound came from. They saw Eclair half way on the window, with her gun out shooting in the clear air and reving her engine. All the other members got in the cars, took their guns out too and did the same. A burst of gun fires was a signal of Pagoda’s presence in a mission. Feng and Hawk looked at each other and understood that who they have in front of them is the real owner of Pagoda.

They got in their cars, started their engines and joined the group. “I’m counting on you guys.” said Eclair through the radio. “At your service, master!” replied the two of them.
