“Tears dripped down from her once lively eyes as she stared out of her hospital window.Trying hard to find the will to live on.Regretting her life decision of marrying 'HIM'.

He had broken her.

He had broken her love.

He had broken her trust.

He had broken her will to live on.

His presence now haunted her.

She hated how she knew he would always find her.The question was how long could she hid from his haunting presence that she once felt so protected in.And would be her punishment this time?”

Maria's POV:

"Beep"   "Beep"

I groaned waking up to switch the alarm off.It was 7:45,my class starts at 8:30 so I stand to go to the bathroom already missing my warm sheets.I hated Mondays but was excited to finish my last semester so I can finally help dad in the company back home.I take a 15 minutes shower and decide to wear oversized hoodie and some black leggings,I knew it was not that cold but I get sick very easily so I prefer to wear warm clothes.I fix myself some quick pancakes and take some cat food with me to feed stray cats on the way to university and run out of my apartment deciding not to grabbing my car keys as I preferred to walk to uni. My dad bought me an apartment in the most secure and best place in Madrid which happens to be near my uni it only 5 minutes drive and 10 minutes walk.

During the walk I stop to feed the cats when I have an eerie feeling that someone is starting at me so l turn around but find no one there so I it brush off and continue my walk.I reach just in time to catch first lecture.I am quite popular in university because of my grades and personality and have a lot of friends but only one best friend Adrian whom I prefer to seat in class with.The day went on fairly simple with lectures but Adrian and I agree go for coffee after university.The whole time in the cafe I felt the same eerie feeling I felt in the morning I looked around but found no one there

who looked suspicious.

I whole week went by with me having the same eerie feelings,it was starting to get out of hand as I felt someone was watching me even in my own apartment.I started debating if I should tell someone but I decided against it as I didn't want them to worry about me.So I came to conclusion that I should adopt a cat thinking that being lonely was the reason I was getting these feelings.

The next day I when to the pet shop and adopt a beautiful female Turkish Angora.After picking out her stuff as I

turned around I bumped into a very muscular chest dropping everything as I bent down to pick them up

so did the man I bumped into he helped me pick them up.As I looked up to thank him I was met with the most beautiful grey eyes I had ever seen I stood there staring in his eyes for god know how long until he faked coughed to snap me in to reality.I swear I had never felt that embarrassed I could tell my whole face was as red as a cherry tomato.As I looked down blushing I heard the most sexy chuckle in my life it was so deep and husky making me feel thousands of butterflies in my stomach making my blush to deepen.As he stopped chuckling I look up this time trying not to get distracted by his deep eyes I met with the most handsome man I had ever seen.He was a giant,more than a feet tall than me.He had a muscular build beautiful tanned skin,sharp jaw,short stubble,pointed nose,dreamy grey eyes and the softest black hair I had ever seen it was as if god had spend his time making him by own hands.I was once again snapped back to reality when he said,"Gattina".I got confused and asked, "what?".He said if I was adopting a cat.I nodded as it was hard to move my eyes from his face to speak of him.He told me his name Lorenzo and he was there to get some stuff for his two huskies.I felt a slight dark aura around him but I was so attracted by him that I ignored it.We felt a strong bond towards each other so we exchange numbers.

"If only at that time I knew what I was getting myself into."
