Bullied: Part 2

Laura's POV:

I've been bullied for this whole week. A new week is here. Let's see how much this new week has got for me.

I arrived at the uni, and walked to my classroom. Today, I was wearing a long sleeve white top with a dark blue jeans. I paired my clothes with white sneakers.

I sat at my usual place. I didn't talk to Kevin much in the last week. In the lunchtime, I sat alone at my bench and ate. Whenever he came to me, I just avoided him.

In the lunchtime, I went to the cafeteria. I ordered some fries and coke. When I was walking, suddenly someone threw something on me. I realized that it was juice.

I saw the same girl from that day laughing at me.

I saw everyone laughing at me. Everyone hooted and calling me "Loser. Ugly. Stupid. Dumb."

I felt tears in my eyes as I ran from there. I went upstairs to the terrace and stood at the edge.

I'm done. It's all over now. I can't take it anymore. I'm sorry mom, dad and Lisa. I'm a coward. I'm not brave at all. I thought as tears fell down my cheeks.

I stood there for almost 5 minutes thinking about all those things. Suddenly, I heard footsteps beside me as I saw Kevin walking at the edge he came towards me and said, "You know it's better to fight rather than die at least you have someone to fight with."

"Do you think it's easy?", I asked in a sad tone as he walked closer to me.

"No. Nothing is easy in life. You should keep trying. When he first start walking, we fall often but we keep on trying, right? If we would have given up then we wouldn't be walking right now", he explained.

I didn't say anything but stood at my place. He came and hugged me. I don't know why but I felt safe in his arms. He has that protective aura around him.

He pulled back and wiped my tears. We both walked down the stairs. He took me to the cafeteria. At first I denied to go there but he assured me that everything is going to be fine.

Kevin's POV:

I was walking towards the cafeteria when I saw Laura running away. I was confused as to why she was running away. I saw people laughing and joking about Laura.

I saw Anna approaching me as she said, "Did you looked at that ugly bitch? How she was running! I did a great job. She deserved that."

"You did what?", I asked with furrowed brows. "I spilled juice on her face", she said casually.

"What the ****?! Why the hell did you do that?", I asked anger glinting in my voice.

"She was trying to steal you from me", she said in the most innocent way. "Are you stupid? Steal me? Am I a thing or something? I don't belong to you, do you get that? We don't even have a relationship anymore. I broke up with you more than a week ago.", I shouted and ran to find Laura.

I asked one of the guy and he said that she went upstairs. I ran to the terrace as I prayed she won't do anything. I was a stupid to let go of all those bullies who bullied her. I should have taken action earlier.

God, if something happens to her, I don't know what I'd do.

Wait! What am I behaving like I love her?

Let it go, for now I need to go and see if she's safe.

I went to terrace and saw Laura standing at the edge. I walked towards her as I said, "You know it's better to fight rather than die at least you have someone to fight with."

"Do you think it's easy?", she asked in a sad tone as I walked close to her.

"No. Nothing is easy in life. You should keep trying. When he first start walking, we fall often but we keep on trying, right? If we would have given up then we wouldn't be walking right now", I tried to explain her.

I went to her and hugged her. I felt like I got everything back to see her safe. I sighed in relief. She's so fragile and innocent how could they bully her?

I pulled back and wiped her tears. Then we walked down to the cafeteria. Laura denied to go but I assured her that she's going to be safe.

We walked inside and I saw Anna approaching me. I took one of the glass from a table and spilled it onto her face. Everyone gasped even Laura.

"Wh...?", I cut Anna off. "Do you feel good now?", I asked her with a smirk.

"Don't you dare bully her again", I warned her then turned to everyone as I said, "If anyone bullies Laura, you know what would happen, right?"

They all nodded and went away. I took Laura's hand and walked outside. "You shouldn't have done that to her", she said and stopped walking.

"She shouldn't have done that to you as well", I said in a angry tone.

"Why do you care?", she asked as she pulled her hand back. I didn't like it. I wanted the warmth of her hands.

"I don't like it", I replied. "Don't bother about my things", she said and turned to walk but I held her wrist.

She hissed and pulled her hand back. Did I held it too hard? I just held it softly. Did I hurt her?

"I'm sorry if I hurt you", I asked but she just nodded in NO and left.

What was that? I just stood dumbfounded.

Did I really hurt her?

I looked down to see blood.

What?! Blood!!

Did I really hurt her? But I just held her.

My mind was full of confusion and I didn't know what to do.
