Tears For The First Time

Alex has continued to talk to Olivia for the next two week when they are in school. But she ignored him all the time no matter how he begged her to talk to him. Also, the bully group has not bothered Olivia anymore after got their face slapped and being warned. People in school had gave her a nickname as, Ice, because she is always cold and distant to everybody.

At one night, when Olivia was trying to sleep because she has been suffering from insomnia since she arrived to Earth, and her mother suggested her to see a doctor, but she denied it. As she finally closed her eyes, she realized that she’s not sleeping until a voice and figure, that she has been waiting to hear and see, had arrived,

“ Isabella..” Mom, Alien Queen, called her.

“ Mom, is that really you?” Olivia still couldn’t believe her eyes.

“ Yes, Isabella, all of this is real.” She has trying to comfort her daughter.

“ I can’t hold this for long, we only have a few minutes.” Mom told her.

“ What happened to you?” Olivia asked because she has been find a way to talk to her, but her power has been sealed so it’s not strong enough to do that.

“ They locked me up and absorbed most of my power by force.” Her mom said in a weak voice.

“ But, I’m still able to use my mind power to get connect with you.” She continued. As their time is almost out, her mom has tried her best to say what she has to said,

“ Isabella, listen to me, enemies got the control of our military now. People here are suffering, and also they thought you’re dead already. You have to find your way back here on your own, to get the control back.”

 “But, I don’t have that much power now. How can I ever go back?” Olivia couldn’t control herself when she asked.

“ Even though I sealed your power, that doesn’t mean you can’t ever break the seal to have your power back.” Her mom said.

“ What do you mean?” Olivia is confused. Her mother continues,

“ The reason that I sealed your power, not only to keep you safe, but also to see if you can protect yourself without using the power and me with you. In order to rule the military, the ruler has to be able to know make choices on their own.” Her mother said. But suddenly, there is a voice that had break their conversation.

“ Isabella, the time is out, I have to go before they find out.” She hugged Isabella for the first time, “ I love you as always, my child.” She patted her head.

Olivia hugged her back, “ I love you as always too mom.”

“ Please mom, don’t leave me. I can’t do this without you.” She almost can't hold herself anymore.

“ You can, my child. You’re most strongest one that I have ever seen.” Her mom smiled as her shadow is starting to disappear.

“ No mom! Don’t leave me!” Olivia is trying to reach for her mom.

“ Be safe.” Her mom said that as she disappeared completely.

Olivia opened her eyes immediately, and breathed so hard. She covered her face with her hands and started to cry, she is trying to her voice low so no one would hear her. The tears have falling down.

She has never cry on anything, but this time is different. It’s her first time to experience the separation from her family for not knowing how long it will be.
