Episode 9. Rescue.

...Going back to Arctic Circle where the scientific research team was....

...Sakamoto Tsukiko, playing with the baby girl was happy beyond limits, because she and her husband both were infertile....

...Sakai Koji was trying to contact base team. But because of bad climatic conditions he was not able contact them for a while, but somehow now he got signals and contacted for an emergency evacuation....

...Back here at Base Camp after receiving an emergency evacuation request, Air Rescue Service, Brigade 10, Squad 7 (codename: Daggers) was tasked with the rescue....

...Air Rescue Service was a Special Force tasked with rescues only....

...The Group Captain (codename: Alps) of Air Rescue Service, Brigade 10, Squad 7 set out with the teams for Arctic. They reached Arctic in two hours and evacuated all members of the Scientific Research Team....

...Alps was confused when she saw Sakamoto Tsukiko carrying a baby girl in her arms. But the more confusing thing was that this baby had a pink skin, horns and fangs. She was not wearing any thick clothes....

...The more she thought about it the more she got confused. But nonetheless how they looked was not her problem. Her duty was to rescue them and that was it....

...On their way back to Base Camp Hospital the baby started to cry. It seemed that she was hungry but nobody had food on them. Even the Rescue Aircraft didn't had infant food or milk....

...The reason was simple, never in their wildest dreams did they thought of finding a baby. As time went by her hunger grew bigger and she began to cry even more....

...Her cry in hunger was like a knife cutting Tsukiko's heart, but what could she do. There was no baby food that she could feed her nor they had milk with them....

...So to pacify her she goes to another chamber and tries to feed her the same way a mother feeds her newborn baby. At least the baby could be kept silent this way....

...But unknown to her, as soon as thie baby girl touched her she began to produce milk. This was totally unscientific....

...I am not even pregnant. How can I milk? these thoughts came to her mind. But she dissipated all thoughts. For now the good news was that the baby is being fed and won't cry for the time being....

...On their way back she had made up her mind. She was definitely adopt this baby and would go to hospital to check whether she is pregnant or not....

...After reaching the Base Camp Hospital she and the baby girl were taken to emergency room for quick inspection. Tsukiko's medical reports told that she was completely fine and not pregnant....

...But the baby girl, her reports suggested that she wasn't a proper human. Her body had attributes of Humans and Klaxosapians. It was quite surprising for everyone....

...Even though her appearance had given her identity away this was just another confirmation that she was indeed a reincarnation of the legendary Zero Two....

...So in order to protect her and recognise her they gave her the same name she used to have Zero Two. While her official name was to be decided by The Government, as such a matter cannot be hidden from Nana and Hachi....
