EPISODE FOUR - PART FOUR
Everyone looked so lively as you watched them from above, carrying Lincoln who's eating candies that you bought for him.
Your gaze quickly shifted when the door of the hotel room opened, revealing the ambassador of Hizuru with her bodyguards.
She smiled at you, and you greeted him with a warm tone.

Good afternoon, Madame. I am your tour guide for today, my name is Eury Braun, this is my son, Lincoln Braun.

H-Hello, I'm Lincoln B-Braun!
Lincoln said while his mouth is still full of candies. The woman laughed at how adorable Lincoln sounded and looked.

The lady said as she pinched Lincoln's cheek while your son giggled at it.

Shall we begin the tour?
You went out of the hotel and showed her the best spots in Liberio, you felt glad that she liked you, and even liked Lincoln more.
She even presented to carry your son as you walked around the interment zone.
Miss Azumabito grew so fond of Lincoln that she even bought whatever Lincoln pointed out.
You did your best to stay focused on the job and do your best to keep the guests entertained.
You don't even know why you got assigned here in the first place, it's so far from your line of work.
Apparently, Zeke Yeager was the one who suggested for you to be the guide of the ambassador of Hizuru.
When asked why, he answered that you'd convince someone with your face in an instance. Quote and quote, "She's the type of person the ambassador would like to converse."
It was a good thing that they allowed you to bring Lincoln with you.
When you all got finished with the tour, the ambassador decided to head back to the hotel to prepare for the act which will take place later, at seven.
You needed to head out during that time to check on Mr. Kruger's friend. You promised him you'd do it, you can't fail him.
You've been trying to find an excuse to go out of the hotel room and when you were about to give up, Miss Azumabito spoke.

You can actually leave us after we're finished eating dinner. I'm sure you want to experience the festival for yourself too. We can walk to the event on our own.

Besides, it's a once in a lifetime event for everyone here in Liberio to have this event.
You couldn't be happier. You thanked her and ate dinner with her happily.
By the time they're done, you bid your goodbyes to them. Lincoln did it too.
There were still a lot of people on the streets. It's the first time you've seen everyone this joyful and the streets are busy.
There were soldiers deployed in some parts of the place.

Lincoln asked as you carried him and walked a little faster. The place is still kinda far from where you are, and the event is almost starting, you need to fasten your pace.

We're going to visit an old friend of mine, baby.
There were soldiers that you've met along the way that greeted you.
After a few blocks, you saw Porco and Pieck following a soldier too. They must be assigned to do something too. Probably by the orders of Commander Magath.

Geez, even during these times they can't even let them take a break.
You mumbled, feeling sorry for them. You then wondered where Reiner and Zeke are.
It's unusual for the four of them to not be together.
Well, they might be assigned to the other side.
Securities are tight tonight because a lot of important people are gathered together in the same place.
You then walked past a few more blocks to reach the location written on the paper.
You let your son walk on the ground and held his small hands up as the both of you approached the said house that Mr. Kruger's friend lives.
You wore your white coat first and checked on the things that you brought first before entering the house.
It was dimly lit. You couldn't even see a thing except for the door a few meters away that's left half open.
You gently closed the door and looked for the light switch on the walls.
Once you find where it was, you switch the lights on, revealing a very organized place.
It surely didn't fit for someone who Mr. Kruger was describing.

Is anybody here? I am sent by Mr. Kruger.
Nobody answered that's why you took a step forward, trying to peak in the room with the door that was left half opened.
Lincoln was now hugging one of your legs that's why you decided to carry him up again and hugged him close to you.

I am Doctor Eury Braun. I am from the hospital that Mr. Kruger's been receiving treatment from.
You added but there was still no response, so you checked your watch and saw that it's only ten minutes before seven.

I must've arrived a little too early.
You mumbled as you scanned the whole place.
There's no single speck of dust in here. Everything is neatly organized and some things even looked like they're not even used yet.
You caught a glimpse of the table where there were pieces of papers left with scribbles and such.
You decided to go near it and tried to read it.
You muttered as all the papers pertain to only two things, Titans and Paradis.
You thought that maybe Mr. Kruger's friend was once a part of the research team assigned to the Titans and Paradis island.
The papers were too good to be written by amateurs and low ranked soldiers.

Could this be the reason why Mr. Kruger's friend got locked up? He might've discovered something or got involved in a certain incident.
You continued on reading the reports written.
Lincoln pointed when he saw one of the drawings. It sure looked like a Titan, but you don't even have any idea because you haven't seen this Titan before.
You went a little closer and read what was written on the lower part of the drawing.

Attack Titan, Eren Yeager.
There were a lot of sketches about it too. From its skill to its weaknesses, all were stated in a very detailed manner.
From the corner of the paper, H.Z. and H.T. initials were written.
You couldn't help but look at the papers and read almost every detail being put on the papers.

S-So this must be the current attack titan.
You stated as realization dawned upon you.

Who is this guy that Mr. Kruger wants me to treat? Who is Mr. Kruger?
You couldn't even help but ask yourself.
You were about to turn around and leave to look for Mr. Kruger, but something caught your eye.
It was the paper beneath, you decided to take it as you saw a familiar symbol.

W-Why does it look familiar?
You were about to take a closer look at the other symbol when you heard footsteps approaching the house outside.
You immediately placed the paper back to its original place as your grip on Lincoln became tighter.
Before you could even turn around to greet the person who arrived, the door swung open.

You, who are you? Why did that shitty brat sent you here?
It sounded so familiar that your heart ached the moment you heard it.
It sends shivers down to your spine, and you instantly feel cold.
His voice, why does it sound so familiar that even my heart aches.
Levi
I'd give, you ten seconds to turn around, if you don't you'll end up dead on the spot.
You gently placed Lincoln down and slowly turned around.
There you saw a guy with straight black hair styled in an undercut curtain, as well as narrow, intimidating dull gray eyes with dark circles under them.
His expressionless face instantly faded away the moment he got a glimpse of your face.
You don't know either, but you felt your heart raced the moment you saw him.
He stated with a trembling voice and a tone of disbelief.
It was full of longing that instantly reached your heart.

I'm sorry but you might be mistaken or I might've entered the wrong house. It's Doctor Eury Braun.
You managed to say as you felt a very bad headache, his voice kept on echoing inside your mind.
The headache was so unbearable that you knelt to the ground.
Lincoln instantly cried and hugged your arms.

Mister, please help my mother!
Those were the last words that you heard before your vision turned black and your body hit the cold floor.
