Kimberly

Hee name is Kimberly Lee ...She is 20 years old. She's a student of management at one of universities. She's in her second year now. It's so great to be a college student. They just started their fourth semester.

She was walking to library when her friend called her.

" Kim.." Sandra, her friend called her.

She has two friends, Sandra and Alexa. But She's closer to Sandra than Alexa. Maybe because she is her first firiend at the college they also used to be roommate whey they were still living in the dorm. But now both of them already moved out and rented their own apartment.

They both entered the university with scholarships. It's just Kimberly got a full scholarship and Sandra only got 50%.

Sandra studies in finance.

but different with Alexa, she is from rich family. Alexa is in the same field with Kimberly we both in management major.

She stopped and looked back, " hey San, what's up ?"

"Where are you going?"

" Im going to library, why? There's a book I want to find, do you to join?" She asked her.

Sandra thought for a moment, " alright, I just happen to have no idea what to do" then we both walked to library while chatting.

After She got the book she wanted, they started looking for a seat then started reading the book . While Sandra preferred to read the comic books that she brought.

After spending about an hour ,They left the library because they had a class to attend.

After Kim's class was over, She directly left the campus after saying goodbye to Sandra. She has to work, she works at a cafe as a waitress.

Sandra also has a part time job, she works at minimarts., Sandra isn't from rich family, but her family isn't bad. Her family still supports her.

But Kim is different , she is alone , she has to work for supporting herself. Sometimes if her friends told her to replace them at their other workplace, she would take it.

They started working in their second semester because in the first semester they had too many assignments and their schedule was still tight.

When first semester holidays, they both went to find part time job, and they got it.

Since then , they both work until now.

After working,she quickly went back to her apartment. because She still has homework to do.

Her apartment isn't big, it's just a small room with one bed , one bathroom and a small kitchen with small dining table , then a sofa. But for kim that is already enough.

When she finished, it's almost twelve, she directly went to her bed.

The next day, she woke up, She saw it's almost eight, she had a morning class at 10. She quickly walked towards the bathroom and had a quick shower.

She made a simple breakfast for herself. Then after breakfast she went to her desk.

She looked at the picture on her desk. A picture of herself and her parents.

Actually they're not her biological parents, She was adopted by them .

They told her that they found her fainted when they were going to the market earlier in the morning.

That time She was about four or five years old.

They both quite old, they didn't have children. They took her home. When She woke up, all She knew was only her name Kimberly and her age. She didn't remember anything else.

Then after discussing , they brought her to the police, then they told the police that they wanted to adopt her. The police told them to wait , after two months, there's no report of missing child, they finally became her parents officially after going through all the procedures.

They had a small noodle shop. They really love her a lot. And She always help them when She got home from school. And they're so proud of her because She always got her scholarship.

When she was 15 years old, her adopted father died because of his illness. And it was a hard time for her and her mom. After resting for a while, they both started to reopen our noodle shop again. And they both tried to be strong , even though She knew in her heart that mother really missed father, She often saw her crying at night in their room. Her heart was also broken every time she saw that. . That's why She promise her self that She had to make her happy.

Every day She would make some jokes to make her laugh. She also made her proud with her perfect score at school. And She got scholarships for her college.

Her mother was very happy.

Who would have thought a month after She received her good news, her mother collapsed.

The doctor told her that her mother cancer was in the final stage , She fainted when She heard that. She felt guilty for didn't know about her illness.

After she passed away, She found a letter that she left for her.

She told Kim not to feel guilty because she had her cancer for a long time ago. She also left Kim a savings account containing money which was enough for Kimberly.

She told Kim that she had to be strong and she wanted her to move out from this small city and start a new life in the new city. She also said that the necklace that She's been wearing all this time can be the evidence for me to find her biological parents.

Two weeks before Kim entered her college, She sold their house and left.
