Ming Yu tightly clutched his jiejie' hand and tried to hide his face. it's been 5 minutes since they left the restaurant and everyone keep on glancing towards Ming Yu.

It was Ming Yu' first time outside and it turns out to be horrible. his excitement for the outside world died; after the restaurant's incident.

Ming Ai noticed her brother's spirit was down and decided to take him to the bridge build on the Yīng river, which connects the kingdom Yīng and kingdom Fènghuáng together. the view of the bridge was amazing at night.

Ming Yu, "jiejie, aren't we going back to the manor?". Ming Ai laughed softly and said, "No. I promised, my Yu-er to show the beautiful places in the empire. since some people ruined our dinner. I want to show you the beautiful scenery and than we will head back to the manor."

after a long peaceful walk they visited the bridge. Ming Yu looked at the bridge and his eyes widened in surprise, he ran towards the bridge, which was hidden in the creepers. there was a big cherry blossom tree; on the side of the river, covering the bridge in pink creepers; the tree hid the whole bridge.

there were lotuses blooming around the both sides of the bridge, fireflies were flying, gentle wind was blowing, the petals were falling slowly, the night was peaceful and the view was relaxing.

Ming Yu stood at the bridge and gazed at the sky for a long time, than he said slowly. "jiejie, thanks for bringing me here, this was my first time outside and you made this unforgettable. I'm going to miss you!"

his eyes were misty from tears which were threatening to fall from his eyes. but he didn't let them fall.

Ming Yu didn't get any reply from his jiejie. so, he turned back to look at his jiejie. but there was someone else standing, to whom he didn't recognized. he yelp and placed a hand on his fast beating heart.

Ming Yu looked at the man, who was wearing black robe and a mask on his face. only his eyes can be seen, the man's whole body was covered in black clothes, his eyes were golden. Ming Yu didn't dare to look at the man for a long time and said, "ex-excuse-me?" in his small and soft voice.

there was an awkward silence between both, the man keep on glaring holes in Ming Yu' head. for someone, who never interacted with people, Ming Yu didn't know how to break the awkwardness in the air.

the peaceful night silence was broken by the screech of a woman. Ming Yu recognised the voice and his whole being turned tensed.

there was a loud sound of sword clashing, before Ming Yu could process more, he was suddenly pulled by the man in his embrace and in just one step the man took him behind the big cherry blossom tree.

the moment they left, people from the Mèngxiǎng restaurant came. one of them said, "damn it! we lost the beauty!" another one said, "if the young miss from the Ming manor is here; than he must be hiding somewhere, let's go and find him."

than they all scattered into different directions. Ming Yu was pressed against the man's chest, his whole body was shaking, he have never been close to anyone; except his jiejie, he hates close contact, not even his caretaker touches him and now he was in a stranger's embrace.

Ming Yu didn't dare to do anything, he didn't even budge from where he was standing; afraid the man will do something.

he can feel the man's breathe on his neck, but what surprised him was, the man's sudden action of sniffing his neck. Ming Yu' whole body freezes on the spot and he didn't dare to breathe.

the woman's screech broke the intimate scene between the both, the man suddenly tensed and stopped his action.

Ming Yu was disappointed, when the man stopped his action, but he didn't pay much attention and focused on the heartbreaking screech, Ming Yu didn't waste a second and start struggling in the man's embrace. he said, "Please, let me go I want to go back to my jiejie."

the man loses his grip on Ming Yu and followed Ming Yu to the other side of the bridge, In the direction, from where the woman's screech came.

Ming Yu witnessed the scene which he can't imagine in his wildest dream, there were three people surrounding his jiejie' body, which was lying on the ground. one of them was gripping Ming Ai with her hairs, the other one crazily keep on stabbing her stomach and the third one, who looks like the boss; stood there gazing everything with a bored expressions.

Ming Yu thought his jiejie was the strongest and no one can harm her. but his imagination was brutally shattered by the scene in front of his eyes.

Ming Yu, without thinking rushed towards his jiejie, he pushed the crazily man away, who keep on stabbing his jiejie and held Ming Ai' hand. he gazed at his jiejie' abdomen and the intestines could be seen.

the scene makes Ming Yu to vomit all the food; he eat in the restaurant, but he took deep breathes and hold his jiejie.

the one whom Ming Yu thrown away, crazily marched towards Ming Yu with the knife tightly clutched in his hand, but he was stopped by his boss, whose eyes suddenly sparkled with lust, "this young man is the one; our master told me to search for!"

the man stop dead in his tracks and looked towards Ming Yu, licking his lips; he said, "the young Master's taste is really good, he is able to find such a beauty and on top of that a ger!"

the one who was holding Ming Ai' hairs extended his hand to grasp Ming Yu, but before his hand could reach, a wind blade came and cut off his arm.

the sudden attack alerted the three men, the three men' were suddenly scared because they didn't notice anyone's presence; which means the one who is attacking is a higher level master.

the boss realised the situation is out of control because they can't afford to offend a high level master and quickly tear the teleportation talisman of low level. the three of them vanished in an instant.

Ming Yu didn't care about anything except his jiejie, "jiejie, ple-please do-don't lose your *sob* con-consciousness."

Ming Ai' vision was blurred but she can recognized her baby brothers voice, she said, "Yu-Yuer, leave from her-" she coughed a mouthful of blood. Ming Yu cried harder, "jiejie, hold on for a-a while I wi-will find some-someone for help."

Ming Ai grasped Ming Yu' hand and said, "no; don-don't, I don't have mu-much time left, you l-leave from here and ple-" she put her hand on Ming Yu' cheek and said her last words, "please tak-take care of you-yourself, your jiejie can-can't keep her promise." her hand fall down leaving a stain of blood on Ming Yu' cheek.

Ming Yu refused to except the fact that his jiejie is lying lifeless in his arms. "jiejie, please wake up; I'm sorry from now on I won't ask for anything, just wake up and stop this prank, I won't complain, I will saty obediently in the manor..."

Ming Yu keep on speaking, whatever comes into his mind; in hope his jiejie might wake up, he cried harder holding his jiejie tightly.

the once peaceful night turned into the worst nightmare for Ming Yu.

the man looked at the two figures, under the cherry blossom tree, one was lifeless and the other was holding the dead figure in his embrace, the cherry petals were falling from the tree.

if this was some other time, the man must have appreciated such a beautiful scenery; the two figures were creating under the cherry blossom, but the heartbreaking cries of the young man was indicating that this scene is agonizing.

the man stood for a while and left, his mind was in a chaotic state, his cold heart was moved by the young man's heartbreaking cries, he chuckled and said bitterly.
