Ming Yu and Ming Ai were the only two child's of General Ming Hai, his wife died whilst giving birth to the twins.

general Ming loves both of his child's but he is more biased towards his elder daughter. though Ming Yu and Ming Ai are twins, he doesn't give much attention to his younger son.

Ming Yu was a ger and ger' were pretty useless, they don't have golden core or mage root and without these things, no one can cultivate, except having a good, petite body and translucent skin; they are nothing, In Fènghuáng empire only the strong are respected and the weak' are bullied.

Ming Yu was sad, his caretaker told him; that his 'jiejie[1]' is getting married with the emperor and he is not allowed to attend his jiejie' wedding.

Ming Yu was happy for his jiejie, soon his jiejie is going to become the future empress, but he was worried; after her wedding, he won't be allowed to meet his jiejie.

he don't know if the emperor; would let him meet his jiejie, the emperor hated the ger' and unfortunately he was one of them.

Ming Yu, sneak out of his courtyard and went to his secret place, there was a big garden in the back of his courtyard. he sat there alone thinking, his jiejie is going to leave him soon, they didn't even inform him, when his jiejie is getting married. his courtyard is in the back of the Ming manor.

there is only one nanny to take care of him, he is pretty much isolated from the outside world. his father told him, he is allowed to go out in the world; after his wedding. Ming Yu have been patiently waiting for his husband to come and take him to the outside world.

Ming Yu heard the rustle sound behind him and didn't bother to turn back, he said, "thanks the heavens, you are back, I need someone to share my sadness." a little girl appeared behind him and said, "Is that a thing to be sad? don't worry, if your jiejie is going to left you, I'm not going anywhere."

Ming Yu turned towards her and said, "Xiao Xiao, after a long time of thinking, I came to the conclusion." Xiao Qiu look towards him suspiciously and asked, "what conclusion? and don't call me Xiao Xiao, I'm thousand years older than you! brat!"

"I want husband!" Ming Yu, declared in a loud voice. Xiao Qiu chokes on her saliva and said, "What the hell?, why do want a husband, suddenly?"

before Ming Yu could answer Xiao Qiu stood up and said "someone is coming" and than she vanished. Ming Yu gazed for a long time; where Xiao Qiu vanished and thought, 'why did she have to be so dramatic? no one can see her except him.'

Ming Yu didn't know the origin of Xiao Qiu, he can see Xiao Qiu from the moment he was born and no one else can see her, not even his jiejie, Xiao Qiu told him not to tell anyone about her existence or else they both will get in lots of trouble. Ming Yu don't want to get in trouble so, he never told anyone about her existence.

"Yu-er!", his jiejie called him and embraced him tightly, Ming Yu looked at his jiejie with a pitiful look and said, "jiejie, you are going to leave me soon, can you do me a favour?, it's the last thing, I'm asking to you" He, intentionally made puppy face, he knew his jiejie can't resist his puppy face.

Ming Ai' gaze sharpened and she said "If it's within my ability, I will definitely help you, now tell me what do you want?" Ming Yu giggled and said "I want husband!"

Ming Ai was stunned for a while than she burst into laughter. "You-You want husband?" Ming Ai rolled on the ground and laughed.

Ming Yu glared at his jiejie, Ming Ai composed herself and said, *ahem* "so, why do you want a husband?" she tried hard to sound serious.

Ming Yu sighed and said, "I want to go outside from my courtyard, I want to experience the real world and I want to make lots of friends. father said, I can go out with my husband. so, I want my husband!"

after listening to Ming Yu, Ming Ai became stiff and her laughter died down, she embraced her baby brother and said softly, "Yu-er, if you want to go outside, I can take you but you mustn't tell father about this, we will sneak outside the manor after midnight and I will show you, many beautiful places."

Ming Yu became happy, he agreed to sneak out of the manor, it's his first time disobeying his father but he knows, nothing bad will happen as long as; he has his jiejie with him. "jiejie, you are the best, I'm gonna miss you...... after your marriage." Ming Yu whispered the last part.

Ming Ai didn't said anything and hugged her baby brother tightly. her baby brother was really naive, she wanted to protect him forever.

Ming Ai bid goodbye to her baby brother and told him to wait for her, in his courtyard.

Ming Yu was excited to go outside. he bid goodbye to his jiejie and happily came back to his chamber, to eat food.

the night arrived soon, both the twins meet at the said place and started their night adventure.

Ming Ai was famous in all over the Fènghuáng empire, she was the genius in younger generation to reach emperor realm at the age of 18. she was the beauty of Fènghuáng empire but nothing compared to her baby brother. no one knew about Ming Yu' existence. he was a ger and in order to protect him, their father kept him hidden from outside world.

her talent caught the eye of emperor and he praised her on many occasions, she didn't want to marry the emperor, she don't want to become the empress, she don't like Imperial Palace. a place full of snakes.

sometimes she is glad; the emperor didn't knew the existence of her brother, deep down she knew the emperor loves to collect beautiful 'things' and she was one of the beautiful 'thing'.

he have many concubines in his harem, all of them were top beauties. what if one day the emperor find out about her brother?, she shuddered at this thought and didn't want to imagine the consequences. Ming Ai sigh and patted her brothers head.

they managed to sneak out of the manor easily, though Ming family has great emperor realm ancestor but they won't notice the absence of her brother and since she is powerful no one will make a ruckus; if they find out; that she is not at the manor.

She brought Ming Yu to the market, Ming Yu was looking around happily and he touched everything he came across, Ming Ai had a smile plastered on her face, she had never seen her baby brother this happy, she was glad to bring him outside.

Ming Yu stopped at one of the stall and asked excitedly, "waah! jiejie, what is this?" Ming Ai, laughed seeing the twinkling look in her brother's eyes. she said, "this is just an old dirty mirror, it's nothing special, this stall sold old things, which are not useful anymore; you won't be interested in this, this is nothing interesting let's leave."

Ming Yu gazed at the mirror for a long time and said, "jiejie, i want this old mirror." Ming Ai didn't want to make her brother sad. so, she purchased it for him; in 1 spirit stone.

Ming Yu took the mirror and put it in his spatial ring. he happily looked around the market and purchased many things for himself and his jiejie.

no matter how powerful or careful Ming Ai is, Ming Yu was meant to catch the attention of everyone, as a ger his beauty is parallel to the world, Ming Ai was nothing but a dust compared to Ming Yu. his child like laughter; innocent heterochromic; one gold and one red eye, long silver hairs; floating in the air, pouty red lips, natural red blush on the cheeks, translucent skin and his innocent actions caught the attention of many people.

Ming Ai was so busy admiring her brother, she didn't noticed the change in her surroundings and bring Ming Yu to the lion's den. there was a famous restaurant 'Mèngxiǎng' for noble people to eat.

it was three story high building, divided into floors, first one for warriors, second for magicians, and third one for the nobles and the emperor.

Ming Ai brought Ming Yu to the second floor since she is a high level magician and went to the private room. She ordered all the top food for her baby brother.

Ming Yu curiously asked, "jiejie, what is cultivation?, I heard some people were talking about it, on the street."

food will take time to arrive. so, she started explaining about cultivation. "there are two types of people those who can cultivate, magician and warriors. the realms are the same but there is a difference in power.

Qi condensation, the first realm from 1 to 9 stage. in this the cultivator needs to absorb pure spiritual Qi; in order to form strong base, purify body by expelling the waste. If the body didn't expel the waste, than the cultivator won't be able to step into the next realm and the cultivation will become unstable.

foundation Stage, second realm from 1 to 9 stage. cultivators needs to be extra careful whilst building their foundation. If it is cultivated properly; without any rush, than it can make cultivators divine senses powerful, far beyond normal people.

these two realms are the test for cultivators, it's hard to pass the threshold of these two realms but once you did, your journey for becoming an immortal starts. many people weren't able to cross these realms and remain forever stuck in them.

Emperor realm, only have low, mid and high stages. after stepping into this realm, there is no need to worry about Qi Deviation, cultivators with Inner Demons in their heart; will folllow their evil desires. it will cause a great internal damage to the body. Qi in the body will become turbulent.

Great emperor realm, have low, mid and high stages. only few can step into this realm, this realm have an immense amount of power.

Saint realm. early, mid and late stages. when ones reaches the transcend understanding about heaven and land and fuses their soul with the land and sky.

Celestial realm have early, mid and late stages. cultivators of this realm are rare, they can use the power of the Domain and create their own pocket dimensions.

If one needs to step into Celestial realm, they must first go through the Intermediate Six tribulation.

For stepping into God realm, immortals needs go through Nine heavenly tribulations, they only have one chance, if they died during heavenly tribulations than, they will become mortal or evil demons.

the higher the realm/Stage gets, the more difficulty will be in cultivation.

Cultivators are born with Profound Veins and Golden Core without these, the person will be a mere mortal.

Magician's also have the same realms and stages but they are born with mage root. mage root is like a third eye. an ordinary person is gifted with approximately one or two elements to control. while a person with high innate talent can control upto four elements.

Magician's are more powerful than the warriors." Ming Ai, took a deep breathe and looked towards her confused brother.

She laughed and said "Yu-er, if you don't understand than don't force yourself, I can explain again" Ming Yu, gazed at his jiejie and said, "jiejie, I understand. but why I don't have any?"

Ming Ai stiffened and said, "because my Yu-er is unique." Ming Yu looked down, his face red with embarrassment.

their food arrived, they both eated the food while chatting and spend 2-3 hours, it was the third period of the night; when Ming Ai decided to head back to the manor.

Ming Ai and Ming Yu both came out of the room and started heading for the exit. before they can step out of the restaurant, many magicians and warriors blocked their way.

Ming Ai, scrutinize her surroundings dangerously and said, "don't you know, who I'm? do you really want to block your future empress' way?, get out of the way". Ming Yu hide behind his jiejie, he is new to all this, he was feeling pretty uncomfortable around so many people.

they all looked at each other and cleared the way for both of them. Ming Ai understood the seriousness of the situation and hurried to leave, her cultivation level is not high enough to fight so many people together.

the moment she took a step outside the restaurant, she hit an invisible barrier. Ming Ai, frowned and said loudly, "if you, really want to go against the future empress, than I will count it as a treason and you will be punished severely!"

"I guess, our future empress forgot the rules, no one can save the ger, they need to rely on themselves for protection." one of the noble said.

Ming Ai, gritted her teeth and said, "I brought him here. he belongs to me, is Lord Tao, himself forgot the rules? and wanted to rob my belonging?". She didn't left any room for fighting and left with Ming Yu.

Ming Yu was petrified, he hold his jiejie' cloth and followed her out of the restaurant.
