Jungkook had maintained a cold shoulder with his bestfriend who is continuously giving him pleading glances from afar. No, Jungkook had to stay firm on his words, he wasn't joking when he said that he was hurt.. One or two sorrys won't resolve anything..

Baek had broken his trust, when he reminsed about Jihyo kissing him, his facial expressions were enough to make Kook conclude that this wasn't the first time they had kissed behind his back.. He had been doing that for a while now, Kook was sure of it..

Jungkook stayed silent and walked away from his seat as the class got dismissed. Baek followed him like a puppy, but Kook spared not a single glance at him.. He was sad, he was angry, he was heart broken..

Jungkook's ears perked up at the shrill voice. He gulped, still not daring to look at the person who had laced her hands with his bestfriend's and clung onto his elbow like a snake..

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with new tears, he was now biting onto his already red lips. His hands balled up into fists, he knew very well who that other person was. And damn, he felt himself being played on for two years..

That girl, yes, that same girl clinging on Baek was none other than Jihyo. Jungkook just did a brief memory surfing, which only left him even more sad.. Jihyo had never called him sweet names.. never clung onto him in these two past years.. never initiated anything.. While she was doing the same right in front of him with his bestfriend..

Wow, what a two faced bitch he had been dating for these many months! Jungkook could bear any more of Jihyo's PDA, and before Baek could speak even more, Jungkook stomped away from the two.. He ain't staying there just to watch them getting all over eachother..

Jungkook lay on the cold hard ground, gripping onto his stomach as one of Joel's minions kicked him hard and smirked down at him seeing him whimpering..

He wasn't bullied initially. It started off with just them asking for some of his cash, but when Jungkook began denying them and stuttered, these gang of bullies had found their regular target.. and from then on, Kook goes through this torture whenever he's alone..

The boy shoved his hands harshly into Jungkook's pockets, getting ahold of his wallet and took a few of the notes and threw the wallet back at his face.. as if he were a beggar..

Joel looked at them lazily, letting out small puffs as if this was his daily dose of some highschool drama.. He flicked the cigarette somewhere and stepped on it, smashing it and walked away without a word, his boys followed him, leaving the boy writhing on the ground..

Jungkook dragged himself up, whimpering in pain and took his wallet, finding it empty with only a few cards and coins. He sighed, scraping a part of his cheek where there was a scratch. He put his wallet inside his pocket and tried getting up, but slumped down again in pain, squinting his eyes..

Jungkook opened his eyes and saw a hand in front of his face. The other male seemed to help him get up.. Jungkook didn't think much and held the hand, the latter pulled him up and made him stand on his feet..

Jungkook dusted his clothes a bit to look least presentable to the new face who he didn't seem to recognise..

The latter forwarded his hand and Jungkook shaked it with a bunny smile. The man's smile was very bright, and that made Jungkook feel at ease immediately.. A little amount of happiness dawned inside Jungkook for the first time today..

Hopekook did a brief introduction and Kook came to know that his family had shifted to Seoul from Gwangju because his father had been transferred in the Seoul branch..

Hoseok's dad was a deputy police officer.. Jungkook didn't break too much information about his family, being aware that its better not to share too much with a stranger..

The two walked towards the college cafeteria, chatting throughout the way.. Actually, Hoseok was the one who did most of the speaking, Kook was an obedient listener and heard the latter ramble about how he got lost in the campus on the very first day.. How one of the girls of his batch informed him about one of the professors yelling most of the time..

Jungkook seemed to have found a friend in Hoseok, who was naive and easy going, and someone who could make friends in a blink of an eye..

In no time they reached the cafeteria, and Kook again felt anxious with all the stares shot towards him.. He looked down, following Hoseok quietly as the latter was too absorbed rambling, to notice the students staring..

Hobi finally looked behind and saw Jungkook's eyes downcast and a timid aura surrounding him.. He looked around and finally learnt about all those disgusting stares the people were shooting at the boy, who looking as if he was at the verge of breaking down..

People could easily get the wrong impression of Hobi, thinking that he is one of those nerd types.. But what he did next made all the pairs of eyes widen and pop out like golf balls.. He stomped towards the boy, hanging his arm over his shoulder and death-glared at the staring guys and gals..

Hobi nodded sideways disappointed, which was of course just to mock the others who were just as surprised to see the sunshine become the king of darkness in a second..

Kook smiled shyly, apart from Yoongi and Baek, he was the first person to stand for him.. His respect for Hoseok increased several folds.. The latter regained his sunshine composure and smiled brightly at the students who he just threatened.. some of them actually choked witnessing his duality..
