Chapter 1: First Day In New School

A lady who was around 38 years old or something was cooking in the kitchen. She was making breakfast for the family. Her beautiful features, black silky long hair, her eyes as black as darkness, which had a bit of ocean in them, and her fair complexion were a cherry on top. Long hands, beautiful small-length nails, and, of course, a very beautiful smile. In other words, you can say that she is a great beauty. She called her daughter to come down.

“Lily, come down! Breakfast is ready. Hurry up or you will be late for school.”

Then a reply comes to the lady's sentence, “Yes, Mom! Coming.” Her voice was beautiful, warm to the ears, and gave the impression that she was in a hurry. The voice belonged to none other than our female lead.

“Lily, baby, come down! Everyone has arrived,” she called again. She was a little worried because it was the first day of the new school, so she was worried if she would be able to make new friends or not.

“Mom, I am coming. Just a minute please,” said Lily.

After a while, she came down and sat on her seat to have breakfast. When she was having breakfast, her mom kept looking at her.

“Mom, why are you looking at me like that? You will bore a hole in my head if you keep on going,” Luo Min Yi said when she saw that her mom kept looking at her strangely. She didn't quite understand why she was staring at her.

“ Lily, baby! Can you please change your facial expression?” Her mother requested.

“Why, what happened to my face? Is there something on my face?” Min Yi was confused.

“Sweetheart! Why are you asking her a strange question?” Said the man in the gentlest voice. He was Min Yi's father.

“Strange? But it's the truth. Look at her. Do you think she can make friends and live a peaceful life during her school days if she is to have that expression on her face?” The mother asked while ignoring his concern.

“Aiya! You are worrying too much. You are saying this as if our daughter has never gone to school before,” said her husband while patting his wife's shoulder.

“I know, I understand this, but you tell me, if someone pisses her off, she is going to kill that person. You know her nature,” said the mother as she was worried about her daughter, but now one thing was very clear. She was not worried about her daughter, but about the person who might intentionally or coincidentally piss her off.

“Mom, for a minute, I thought that you were worried about me, but now I understand that you are not. How can you say something about your daughter? Am I that scared that anyone would be scared of me? Seriously Mom.” Luo Min Yi was bewildered.

“I know you better than yourself,” the mother replied as she pinched her daughter's cheek lightly and smiled gently.

“Okay! Mom, I am done with breakfast, and now I should take my leave. See you all later,” said Min Yi, taking her school bag and leaving for school.

“Why are you so worried? If you are worried about our daughter, then let me tell you, you shouldn't. She's going to be fine,” he tried to assure her as he continued to eat.

“I know, I also don't want to, but after that accident, she has changed. She smiles and laughs with us, but I can tell she isn't happy. If it was before, I wouldn't worry. But now, I can't help but,” she was cut off before she could complete her sentence.

“You have to trust her, and she will be like before,” said her husband while patting her shoulder.

“Mom, don't worry. She is still like before, but you are a mom, so you can even find a little difference in us children. Just give her some time to heal the past wounds. And she will be fine,” her eldest son said. Including Luo Min Yi, there are five members in the family. Mom, dad, little sister, and big brother Luo Rou Yi

Luo Min Yi was on her way to school. She was new here, so she didn't know the roads. It's just been some days since she came to live in a new city and transferred to a new school. She was not a freshman but in the last year of school studies. After a year, she will have to take an entrance exam and go to college.

When she was on the way to school, she closed her eyes for ten seconds and told herself. “Lily, you can do it. You have to do what he wishes for you. Don't worry! I will be happy. After all, you are here with me. You are with me, right?”

Min Yi reached the school gate and entered. She looked at the name of the school, which was written in big words so that even if you went far, you would know that there was a school. She looked at the school and murmured to herself. “Oh! So this is the famous high school that everyone was talking about.”

Luo Min Yi entered the school gate, and she was amazed to see how big the school was. As she was new here, she didn't know where to go or the way to the principal's office. After all, she had to report to the school head. But now she was lost and confused as to where to go. She then approached a girl who was walking in front of her.

“Ah, this classmate, can you tell me where the principal's office is?” Luo Min Yi asked the girl as she tapped her shoulder from behind.

“Oh, you are looking for the principal's office. No worries. I am also going that way. Let's go together. I will drop you there as it is on my way,” said the girl as she smiled at Luo Min Yi.
