Ren, why are you missing?

There's a possibility that you didn't die..

You were missing, but we all don't know why.

The track of footsteps coming towards me, I heard. I turned with tearing gaze, I again found the earl. But though, he was wearing an eyepatch, and without a smile.. I've forgotten when the last smile he made back then.

"R-Ren.. Is that really you..?"

I muttered with my voice cracking..

Ren, himself, nodded.

He didn't seem to be hurt or lonely..

He was with an.. Unknown butler?

W-Who could he be?

"Ren, who is that Butler behind you?"

He didn't answer.

This is new.

This isn't normal.

He always answers me every time I ask him a question before..

What happened to him?

Where's the happiness he was once wearing?

He and his butler walks pass me, back to the fixed manor..

No..

This is not Ren that I used to know.

I started crying, and fell on my lap.

Ren's footsteps were stopped.

"Elaine, I'm sorry. But I just don't have time to talk to you in this situation. How about come back on another day?" Ren said.

I stood up quickly, and faced them.

"I'll surely come back." I replied as I wiped my tears, and ran off to my vehicle.

His backstory (Which will also be included in one of the future chapters.) :

StephenCord is a wealthy and smart family. But though, Ren's parents passed away right after his mother gave birth to him. His auntie, named Rochelle Traceries took care of Ren and his older sister Leah. Ren's parents died of getting direct gunshot at their heads. Who knows the killer might be? Even I don't know (lol). And yes, Ren's auntie and older sister died from the incident of a huge earthquake (which is made probably by one of the demons in this novel-) directly at their place. Within the earthquake, they were also attacked. Ren just entered the StephenCord manor's living room and found their last relatives dead on the carpet floor. His sister's body was squashed by the concrete that fell on her during the earthquake, but she wasn't attacked by the unknown attacker. His auntie had many gunshots on her body. Blah blah blah--and then here we are. This chapter. Lol. Turns out Elaine was Ren's cousin and Elaine really cares about Ren and blah blah blah whatsoever and the introduction is done.
