After some documentations , the body was handed over to the family. They held the funeral..and then returned home. Jungkook went to his room and sat on his bed with knees hugging his chest..as he let out all his pain.

Jungkook

(looking at his dad's photo) Appa...why did you leave me here?😭

Jungkook

You said you won't leave me..like Eomma did.. Y-You said you will always be t-there for me..

Jungkook

(wipes his tears and lays on the bed as he hugged his dad's photo)

The next morning he slept for a bit long...a knock on his door woke him up..

Hm..Ma

Why are you still sleeping?

Jungkook

Sorry..Ma (gets up from his bed)

Freshen up quickly and make some tea..I am tired..

(nods)

Jungkook went to his washroom as he stood infront of the mirror..his hair was all messy , his eyes fluffy and red..and his cheeks were still a bit wet with tears..

(sigh) Get used to it Jungkook...

He brushed his teeth, then took a bath and changed his clothes. He reached downstairs..

Make the tea..

Jk's Brother (Step) [Danniel]

Do you need help kookie?

Jungkook

It's fine hyung...you must be tired too

Jungkook made the tea and served them. After saying goodbye he left for his work..he was tensed already as he didn't return to work yesterday..and forgot to inform the owner too..

Jungkook

(enters the shop)

Owner [Flower Shop]

WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY?

Jungkook

(flinch) I..am sorry sir (bows)

Owner [Flower Shop]

Sorry!!! I had to handle all the customers alone..why do you think I hired you if I had to do it alone? SAY!!

Jungkook

It.. won't happen again..sir

Owner [Flower Shop]

It shouldn't..cause next time..you will be fired

Jungkook

Yes sir..

Like this Jungkook again started the work with almost getting fired

He felt tired..and his boss made him work overtime due to yesterday's incident. He finally closed the shop and returned back home. When he opened the door he was met with his fierce mother who was continuosly tapping her feet on the floor

Where were you?

Jungkook

I was working overtime ma..since I skipped yesterday

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

You know you're an hour late..the curfew ended

Jungkook

Sorry ma...

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

Sorry sorry..you didn't call me

Jungkook

He didn't let me..use my phone

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

ARE YOU USING YOUR OWNER TO JUSTIFY YOUR FAULTS JUNGKOOK?

(flinch) I..

Jk's Brother (Step) [Danniel]

Mother..he said h-

(looks at him)

Now you Jungkook.. because of you the dinner isn't ready yet

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

Go make it..and then do the dishes..even the house hasn't been cleaned..what am I gonna do with you?

Jungkook

But..you used to c-clean the house..

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

(raised her eyebrows) What did you say?

Jungkook

Nothing..I will do it

Jk's Mom (Step) [Selena]

(sits the on the sofa)

Like this..the days passed.. Jungkook had to do all the work.. no one else..and he did obey. His mother would shout at him..even when he did nothing..she wasn't the same as before. His brother did try to talk for him..but was shut off by his mother so..he also behaved like his mother.

He had to wake up so early and do the morning work , then go to the workshop and work all day there..then come back home and make dinner then do the dishes..he had to read some books too..and try to hunt for other books. He got very less sleep..and sometimes he would doze off at his work and get scolded..days weren't so good for him.. almost a week passed.
