This is a parallel story of "Verona".
The story follows Luca Moretti, a young man from a wealthy family in Sicily, as he falls in love with Giulia, a woman from a lower social class family in Verona. Despite the obstacles they face, particularly from Luca's disapproving father who objects to their relationship due to the class differences, Luca and Giulia's love triumphs in the end and they are able to be together.
