Swallowed Star is a cultivation take on a post-apoc world. At least at first. The MC is a strong fighter, whose naturally massive collection of mental energy pushed him into being the best there is within his 'town'. However, he comes from a poor background without anything special there. His abilities bring him attention and enemies, but he isn't a wussy MC, and thus strives headlong into dangers in order to obtain the best benefits he can. Some of what he does is outragous, but funny. All in all, it's a good story. The recent arc comes as a major blow to mankind on the Earth, but at the same time it is opening the story up to the vast reaches of the galaxy and beyond. Similar to other cultivation stories, there's a sky beyond the sky, with mankind from Earth being at the perverbial bottom of the well all the credits belongs to the original author Wo Chi Xi Hong Shi.) and I am just copy pasting.
