Rani was a ten-year-old innocent girl. A few months ago, she had moved to a new city with her parents. Little did she know that this new city was about to change her life forever.
She had been admitted to a private school in the fifth grade. Today was her very first day at the new school. She was extremely excited. Her mind was filled with happy thoughts about making new friends and enjoying her time with them.
Rani had a pure heart. She knew nothing about the world's tricks, deceit, or cruelty. However, the school she had joined was filled with children whose thinking seemed far beyond their age.
Rani had short hair that barely touched her shoulders. She was quietly focusing on her studies when her eyes fell upon a girl standing nearby.
That girl's name was Nidhi.
Nidhi was tall and beautiful. Her hair was tied in a neat ponytail, dark kohl highlighted her eyes, and a natural blush brightened her cheeks. She was the kind of girl who easily attracted everyone's attention.

She was lost in her thoughts when suddenly Nidhi walked up to her. Grabbing Rani by the hair, she pulled her up and mocked her.

After saying that, the teacher left, and the lunch bell rang.
Rani loved dancing, singing, and sports. Deep down, she knew she should give it a try and show her talent.
Once lunch break was over, she gathered her courage and headed toward the music room. As soon as she entered, she saw Nidhi already there. Nidhi had successfully been selected for the performance.
The sight of Nidhi filled Rani with fear. She immediately turned around, intending to leave.
