Haru, the 15ys old boy. He always want to be a perfectionist. Either it's about his daily routine or about other activities. He was obsessed with the perfection, but perfection wasn't so obsessed with him. Whatever he does always end up being a mess. He chase it like a lover who never loves him back. One day Haru starts the study after school. He take out the pen, book, notebook, he mange everything on his study desk.
Before starting to solve the math problem he tried to remember how he solved it in school and open the book. But the way his fate work for him, he couldn't solve it. So he tried & tried so many times. At last in frustration he close the book, lay down on floor , fold the hands & tuck them behind his head, staring at sealing. So many thoughts crawling in mind.
" Why nothing works on my side? What if everything will happen the way I think? what if everything will be perfect in first try? Is there anything I can do to be a Mr. Perfectionist? Will I find peace in the trying or just exhaustion. I want to know the feeling, the joy of being perfect & excellent in everything just like other people.
He falls asleep while thinking about his life. "The very next minute he had dream, everything was so bright around, soft, refreshing air was hitting his ears, sounds like a calm, he found 4 leaf clover which is very rare to find, he pick it up." He wakes up. *Sighs*
"Nothing is going by my way, I will keep trying" He open the book again to solve the sum. This time he decide to solve wisely. But, surprisingly he solve the sum in first try.
He start dancing around in joy. Haru was preparing collage for his little sister for her birthday. He know he is not good at it but still wanted to do, just to make his little sister happy. He was concern about it but start to prepare. This time he did it very well & impressively perfect. He was surprised at his doing. " I did the second thing perfect in a row in single day, this is amazing." He was amazed by his achievements. But at one point he felt suspicious about everything is happening. This was so sudden. So he give it another try just to confirm about his doubt. So he wanted to try the things that he usually messed up. He straight up went to his mother's room. Haru starts making her hair, he usually plays with his mother's hair but end up getting beaten up for messing it. So he try to make her hair braids. Again he successfully done mother's hair. His mother got impressed by him. He stared at her like he was waiting for something. His mother used to give him choclate & apologise kiss after beating. But, this time instead of giving chocolate, she pat his head & told him to do everything this perfect always. So he felt good at first but missed his choclate & apologizing kiss from mother.
This time he understood his dream was not just a dream but a magic that working as a boon for him.
Next day, his sister was getting ready for school but she couldn't make her tie so he asked her if he can try to help, she agreed. Before this, he always called his mother to tie for him but now he don't need his mother to do so. At some point it feels good but sad at same time.
In school, Haru has a compitition that day, winner will get a ticket to the biggest amusement park in his city. Haru went to that amusement park earlier but just for fun & to check either his fortune about being perfect is working fine.So he participated. He solved all the quiz, in last round there were only 1 students left against Haru. The last round was a critical quiz to solve & Haru perfectly solve the quiz & win. But he heard the chat between his competitor who loses in final with his friends. "I wanted to win the tickets since this ticket is very costly & my mom couldn't afford it for me & my sibling so I thought if I win this ticket I could make her happy." At this point Haru felt very bad. He realises his opponent could've win if he doesn't participated.
He give his ticket to his opponent kid which makes both of them happy.
He sat on a desk in park & started thinking about it." I always wanted to be a perfectionist in everything but I don't think it's a need. If I couldn't make my mom's hair yesterday I could've get the choclate, but instead I only got sweet words from her, if I couldn't able to do my sister's tie, Mom would do that daily for me but now I have to do it on my own. Today also even though it was not needed I participated & win as I always wanted to, but that was about to affect someone else's happiness. Thankfully I heard his words. But, this means being perfect is not a need, it's a choice. The choice that makes you special but that can take away your little happiness too." He understand he no more needed that magic. He wanted to be a normal again. Being imperfect like before just to have that happiness in his life. His magic fade away after his realisation & he back to the normal.
