"No, don't go...please! Please don't leave me alone" Erica's muffled voice barely above a whisper but still echoing in the dark room.
Moonlight flashing through the window, casting soft light on Erica's tense face.
With a sudden jolt her eyes opened with a soft grasp. Sweat shining on her ivory skin.
She took a deep break and sighed, as she mumbled "Darn these dreams".
Erica moved her head to the right side table, a small table lamp giving its warm light around the table. She watched the time in a small clock *2:27 a.m.*. It has been barely two and a half hours since she slept.
Her throat dried, she grabbed a water bottle but it was empty, Erica shoked her head lightly in annoyance, took a deep breath and got up.
Her feet met with the cold floor, she walked through the door. Pushed open it while turning the knob.
Erica's bare feet walked through the drawing room and headed in the kitchen.
She opened the refrigerator and took out a cold bottle of water.
"Erica?" She heard a soft voice calling her, Inaya.
Erica turned back to see the figure standing on the kitchen doorway. "Yes?" she said a light smile on her lips.
She walked towards Erica and started finding a noodle packet from the drawer behind Erica "Why are you awake? Having problems with sleeping again?" Inaya asked while rummaging through the drawer.
Erica nodded even though Inaya couldn't see it "Yeah, and you...stop watching your horror movies and go to bed early" Erica said with a light chuckle.
Meanwhile Inaya only laughed "Sure!"
"Okay then sleep early, I am going back in my room". Erica said and took a glass with her water bottle.
"Hm! Good nigh-oh- Good morning I mean" Inaya said laughing between her words.

ERICA'S POV-
*8:02 a.m* I checked the time, my bad habit of keeping track of the time.
I heard a knock on the door "Come!" I announced. Ryuk entered, looked at me while I was wearing my socks "You are not ready?" He asked in a dramatic tone.
"I am" I said calmly even though he can see that I am already ready. "We will be late, Be fast!!" He urged, of course trying to irritate me.
"Just let me grab my bag" I again said with a calmness, despite the urge of smacking on his head.
He looked around "Where is Ino?". I looked at him like trying to remember something "Oh! she has to return her CD she borrowed early, we will meet her in school, now let's go".
I moved towards the main gate to wear my shoes "This girl and her love for those creepy movies and series" he said with a horror on his face.
And of course why not? She always forces this scaredy cat to watch movies with her.
We headed out of the main gate. Today is our last day of high school, So there will be a grand lecture from our headmaster.
Walking on the streets, ryuk grabbed the side of my hood "hm? What?" I asked, while his gaze was still on something else.
I followed his gaze 'oh ice cream' he pointed to the ice cream shop with a sheepish smile "No way! We will be late Ruru!"
He gave a sweet and innocent look "Please na!" his puppy eyes shone with brightness.
An hour later:
We walked or can say we ran as fast as we could and reached the school Auditorium. We opened the gate slowly and everyone was focused ahead.
"Hey guys!! Over here!" Ino shouted from her seat when she noticed something and turned back.
Brohhh where is your social anxiety???
Everyone's gaze fell on us. Uhhh Inooo.
We walked towards her through a gaze full of other students. The head master was already giving his speech "Now, I would like to ask Mr. Damien took over the stage and please honor our honorable students" The headmaster said when Ryuk and I were busy fighting and students around us were looking at us in astonishment.
Not shocked or anything cause they all have seen everyday.
"Honorable student?" Ryuk repeated slowly, "Hey it would be you right?" he said again.
Yes I don't know but one of the honorable students is me, and this information was given to me yesterday.
IVAN'S POV:
I walked through the corridor meanwhile Mr. Yang Seok opened the office room's door for me .
"Your Highness, Marquis Brown's report is ready and there are three meetings and one meeting will start shortly with nobles regarding the problems of criminal and other things regarding the kingdom you will have to join it in Emperor's seat, there is an invitation of ball from Mr. Rosz"
Yang said everything professionally in one go and I sighed internally imagining the chaotic day ahead waiting for me.
I just gave a curt nod in response and sat on my rotating chair.
I started looking through the documents without wasting time, Mr. Yang who was standing a little far from my desk as something struck my mind "What about the marriage issue?" I asked, feigning nonchalance.
He must know about it because, His and Her majesty's decision regarding me is first told to him and then I would know them. Although I know he takes my side most of the time in front of them.
He stopped for a brief moment. "They haven't decided anything yet, His highness and Her highness are waiting for Miss Augustine's response first before moving ahead".
I noticed what he was saying and something inside me irritated "Why? Why are we waiting for her answer when we are already betrothed with each other?" irritation was lacing in my tone.
Yes this was the reason but somewhere I knew i didn't like it because no one asked for my consult on this relation but they are waiting for her response?
