Jacky waked into the house and climbed the stairs to the upper floor and entered her kids room,"Hey ,see whose home","mummy!",exclaimed her five year old daughter Mia, who jumped from her bed and ran towards her mother with her her hands wide open, Jacky bent a little and scopped her off the ground and gave her a tight hug,then placed her on the ground ,sitting nearby on the sofa were her two step children ten year old Jim and eight her old Hellen,"Hi kids", said Jacky looking at them,they raised their heads from their taplets and replied in union"Hi mum", Jacky wasn't at all suprised about how coldly her step children treated her, they weren't always cold towards her ,six years ago when she was married into this family both kids loved her so much, but as the years went by they grew distant epecially due to the fact that not every one in the family liked her even her own husband didn't love her and only married her because his grandmother Kiesha Samuel forced him to.
"Your back",asked kevin Jacky's husband,she turned and saw him standing at the door," Yeah"she replied facing him," Why did you return early I thought your business trip will finish after one week",asked kev," Yeah I finished my work early so I asked to leave so that we could spend some time together as a family","Mmmm, okay am going out and I will be late, don't wait for me during dinner",after finishing speaking he didn't even wait for her to reply, he simply turned and walked away down the stairs and out the front door, Jacky just stood there watching his rettriting figure then heard the car drive off, she then turned to her kids and asked them about school and they each told her about their school experiences although Jim and Hellen grew alittle distant from her they still communicated with her,after exchanging a few words with them Jacky left the room and walked towards the master bedroom she shared with kev, she placed her suitcase one the bed opened it and started unparking her clothes and placing them in her wardrobe, she then changed her clothes and lay on the bed to rest for the day.
