*The Past Converges*
He pulled back, his eyes locked onto mine, searching for answers. "How did you know where to find me?" he asked, his voice low and curious.
I smiled, feeling a sense of playfulness wash over me. "Let's just say I have my ways," I whispered, my fingers tracing patterns on the bench.
He chuckled, a low, husky sound that sent shivers down my spine. "I like secrets," he said, his eyes sparkling with intrigue.
The tension between us was palpable, a living, breathing thing that pulsed with every beat of my heart. I knew I had to break it, to take a step back and breathe.
"So, what's the plan now?" I asked, my voice a little too bright.
His expression turned serious, his eyes burning with intensity. "I want to show you something," he said, his voice low and husky. "Something that'll change everything."
He stood, pulling me up with him, and led me through the winding streets of the city. We walked in silence, the only sound the beat of our footsteps and the rustle of leaves in the breeze.
Finally, we stopped in front of an old, abandoned building, its walls covered in ivy and graffiti. He pulled out a key, unlocked the door, and pushed it open.
"Welcome to my world," he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
I hesitated, unsure what lay ahead. But his smile was infectious, and I stepped forward, into the unknown...
