…The Next day was unusual for me. I woke up extremely late and this is just my first day of work. “Is this a coincidence once again or is something I am not prepared for will happen today”, I carefully mumble as I brush my teeth vigorously. I darted out of my apartment with a simple and serious business attire I bought a day before.
I tried my outmost best to get a cab but each time I call them over they give me the most unreasonable price and I am not Ms. Rich so I wish them good luck just so that my day would not end up terrifying.
I had no choice but to ride on my delivery bike, such an embarrassment. Once I got to the Rox corporation there were no more parking spots so I just park my bike at a restaurant nearby. At least no one saw me on a bike that is worse than a rundown child’s scooter.
As I enter the building, I bumped into a guy I know from high school, Jeremy. It was so nice to see Jeremy until I realized he was trying to escort me out of the building.
“Jeremy what are you doing are you nuts”, I pant giving up all the breathe in me.
Jeremy spoke confidently with an Ego that should not exist “You are just a delivery girl, who invited you in here, SECURITY GET THIS BITCH OUT!!!”
I kicked right in the balls and shout “I came here to work as a personal secretary, dumbass”
Jeremy fell and the security came to escort me out, one of the security guards let us just call him, Stupid A spoke with a refined tone “Sorry but we do not allow a Mad woman into OUR building”
When he said OUR building I was all over the moon carrying a dagger. I taught this day won’t get worse but let us just say GOD had more in store for me packaged in a very large portions. The air was tense and I knew Men like this are stupid and are the kind that have nothing to lose (Please Men reading this do not be offended)
I slapped Stupid A to the back room just like the same method a true African or Asian mother slaps her offenders. Stupid A landed on the floor and Stupid B came to accompanied Stupid A in this drama. “ I cannot take this anymore someone reasonable should just spawn” I said.
And just like that, the manager of the Humanitary department (Trying to say Labour department but this sounds good in my head) of the Rox Department came to escort me to the Next as Chairman but witness this catastrophic mess. As sensible as he could be he fired them at the spot, I hope there where more people like him in this world.
He escorted me personally saying that I was directly chosen by the Next as Chairman (the next as Chairman is Just my way of saying the Chief executive officer who is supposed to be the chairman but he is in need of a wife in order to become the chairman. I might also call him Chairman take notes)
I really liked this guy and I only just wished the Chairman was even better but I was wrong, because when I stepped into the C.E.O office I was surprised to see that baddass Ryan. (If you read Part One you will understand what I mean)
I was about to insult Ryan when the manager directly said “Mr Rox, this is the lady you said you needed”
Nooooooooo! There is no way this guy from high school who was a short stack is more successful than I can ever be. He smirked at me signifying that at this moment I knew I f*cked up bad. The manager was sentenced to leave both of us together. “No!”,I screamed because I knew the moment the manager leaves I will be destroyed by this guy. I shouldn’t have bullied him in high school if I had realized he will be the Mr. Rox, a billionaire C.E.O who has tons of asset that can crush his enemies raw.
The manager left me and Ryan behind. As I turned to see Ryan’s face, I was pinned to the wall by Ryan. He was were a white shirt and this shirt was showcasing his…. You understand what I mean and I just can’t stand it.
He spoke first “So you actually came to MY COMPANY to work as MY PERSONAL ADVISOR AND SECRETARY.
I backlashed “When did I agree to work as your advisor besides I am not YOUR SECRETARY I AM…Mr. Hum…humility no Mr. Humanity I mean Humanitary ass….” (I am bad at vocabulary)
He shushed me and his phone rang so he let go of my hand.
“Sit on the chair will you”, he said as he went to answer his phone call.
I could not believe I am literally just got all stutter over that asshole. Once he finished the call, he sat on his chair and stared at me.
He then said “From now on you are my personal advisor, personal secretary, loving wife and a tech developer”
I stared at him “What!!! You expect me to be all that and…”
He interrupted me “I will pay you a huge sum of amount and…”
I interrupted him “Sorry but I quit, fire and resign because no matter the sum I will never even let you control my ass”
He took a deep breath and said “Do I have to force you” he brings up a huge stack of papers “Anny, I know you are unemployed and are trying to stabilise as a delivery worker but I need your help”
I looked at him “what do you need help with”
He said “My grandpa wants me to get married and I don’t want to and I just need you to help in the Technological department and I just need you”
I looked at him and I definitely confirmed this man is autistic (Do not be offended I am autistic) because why is he just repeating the same line I need you.
After a short moment of like seven minutes I agreed and he told me to begin my duties tomorrow, including the wife material I am about to become.
I speedrun my day and slept early because you never know when he will just appear and say why is my wife leaving in a dump and once again GOD took it seriously and I woke up the next day on a massive bedroom I do not remember…
