Hey guys hope you like the story 😊
Actually this story is inspired by lana del re song young and beautiful lyrics "Dear Lord, when I get to heaven, please let me bring my man" but bit different hope you enjoy it thank you
Gunfire echoed through the darkened mansion like thunder breaking the heart of night. Elena clung to Luca as chaos tore through walls, their sanctuary collapsing around them. She felt his breath flutter at her ear, heard the desperate pounding of his heart beneath the blood and silk of his shirt.
His hand closed over hers, warm despite the chill creeping into the room and into their bones. “Lena,” he whispered, trembling, “I’m right here. Always.”
She pressed her forehead to his—savoring his lashes on her skin, the familiar scent of gunpowder and aftershave. “We go together, then?” she breathed, trying to hold back the pain that blurred the chandelier lights above them.
He kissed her temple, soft as a prayer. “Always.” And then the world faded: the shouts, the chaos, even the ache in her chest.
Elena opened her eyes to a sky that shimmered silver, and a hush so deep it erased memories of pain. She rose alone, in a world woven from light and distant bells. All should have been peace—but her hand reached blindly for the warmth she had lost.
Days, years, perhaps eternities drifted past her in paradise. She wandered beside brooks that never stilled, beneath orchards where blossoms never fell. Yet every joy bled into sorrow, for Luca was not there to share it.
One morning, as sunlight set the sky aflame, an angel with eyes like new dawn approached her in the orchard. “What do you crave, gentle soul?” its voice rang.
“My love,” she replied, her voice a trembling leaf. “He is not here. Beauty is empty without him.”
The angel beckoned, and a man formed from the morning’s gold stepped from behind a tree. He bore Luca’s face, his crooked smile, even a scar above his brow. For one, fragile moment, her heart soared—then faltered. His touch was cool as mist, his words too soft, his eyes empty of remembered mischief.
Tears welled in Elena’s eyes. “You cannot give me a memory. I want the man I love. The man who bled for me, who burned for me—where is he?”
The angel’s light dimmed in sorrow. “Your Luca was cast into darkness for his deeds. He is lost, where no gentle soul ever walks.”
Elena’s answer was certain, and filled with longing. “Then show me the path, for peace is nothing if it keeps us apart.”
No thunder, no judgment—only a soft parting of light, and before her yawned a path of shadows, choked with thorn and flame. Elena stepped forward, holding love above fear, and left heaven behind.
She descended, the beauty and music of paradise fading into aching silence and heat. Shadows licked her skin, smoke filled her lungs. Every step was longing—until she found him: bruised, broken, but unmistakably Luca, waiting in the midst of the storm.
He looked up, disbelief and hope at war beneath his battered eyes. “Elena… you came.”
She knelt, shivering, and pulled his face into her trembling hands. “Where else could I ever belong, but with you?”
And in that place of roar and ruin, they held each other. The world did not heal. Time did not forgive. But the darkness softened around them, and all that remained—the one light stronger than heaven or hell—was love.
Above the shifting shadows, two ancient beings watched.
The angel’s gaze glimmered, sorrowful and bright. “Such devotion, even here. All the grace of heaven was hers, yet for love she chose the flame.”
The devil’s mouth twisted in amusement, eyes alight with admiration. “Ah, there’s a beauty in souls that choose suffering for love. It’s rare, angel—your heaven makes many promises, but only darkness reveals what hearts are truly made of.”
The angel looked away, voice hushed. “Perhaps paradise is not a place, but a choice. Some loves burn brighter than my stars.”
The devil smiled, his voice soft, almost kind. “Let them have this fire, angel. For in the darkness, even a fleeting light is holy.”
And so both watched as Luka and Elena held each other close, proving that true love could defy even the boundaries laid by heaven and hell.
